lol @ supercharged! after several parts are lying in my garage due to no interest i just want rid of it - 50quid is fair i reckon for a painless removal
-
got a quote of 50 quid to come and crane it off the drive - so probably go with that option... although cutting it up would be a laugh!

I've a bare shell at present that I'm wanting to get rid of. It doesn't have any subframe/beam assembly and therefore no wheels. Due to this most scrappers in my area have indicated they won't collect it due to the difficulty of loading it onto a truck, or indeed the damage the metal contact has. My options as things currently stand are - 1) Pay to have it 'grabbed' and removed, 2) Put subframe/etc, beam and wheels back on or 3) Cut the damn thing up. Has anyone got any other ideas - or even better, any contacts/know companies who can help in the Uxbridge/West London area? Thanks in advance

so after stripping it for everything its worth, you'd like someone to bring it back to life at their cost? ;)
-
tough over there without aircon - could you imagine 35+ degrees in a non aircon car...
-
Nice bottle of Aberfeldy there!
-
I heard recently (third hand info) that the EOS was the pick of the bunch - less features in the management to overcome. Also more of a comfort car than a drivers car - so less of a hard life from new
-
Will be interesting to see how it comes out! Good price. Where is it being done (feel free to PM me)?
-
keep the RC's - superb wheels

*enjoys sunshine and blue skies in Melbourne* ;)

sounds a better route - all new parts then. Supercharged - do you have a part no for the passat pedal - or the year of a passat you should get the pedal from? Cheers

Ben do you mind if i ask what inlet and cams are being used for this? Also are those alloy pullies driveside? -
good man - almost there Rob!
-
looks very interesting Dave - I'll give you a call when back from holiday in Nov about it :)
-
I'm also interested in the pas hoses as a replacement to the originals - worth mentioning if you try and strike up a deal...
-
I thought the hgp runner fouled the slam panel in a Corrado? Not sure who said/confirmed that, but seem to recall it!
-
Thanks David :) I went straight to search before!

Was chatting with fla the other day about replacing the PAS pipework and he recalled discussion on here about a supplier of PAS pipework with stainless fittings and flexis. I've done a search and can't find anything - so just wondering whether anyone else can recall such a product/supplier. I'd be interested if they were available! Thanks

Velcro would make a noise during movement in the seat I would think

I've asked about it at work and its effects are frankly dubious at best apparently. That's why mine just got a lick of paint and some new bolts and whacked back on. :D Fair play mate!

weighing up a potential project Matt? ;)
-
I can find out for you mate if you need a new one. I just cleaned mine up with a wire wheel and sprayed it silver. 8) Ah no worries - its cool thanks. I'm not sure how useful it really is - I know its to help cool the pas fluid - but i wonder how effective/necessary it is.
-
it surely sounds like its just not running right? against petes comments it doesn't marry up. Coxy - what cams have you got fitted? If they have an effect similar to that of the 263s in the 12v, then it could well make a large difference. After having the 263s fitted to my 12v the car just felt so much more responsive and urgent - it really woke the engine up and delivered a different drive.

looking good! can i ask how much vag charged for the metal piping the pas uses that goes through the radiator support/valance?
