Dont think this is much of an argument... loads of people obviously like the different types... most people that dont like what theres came with have changed it in some way... added badges... lost badges... lost slats... added paint... its pretty much all to your own preference... What i can say is... that its definitely down to the colour of the car... and i personally dont like the 7 slat grill (mine has one and im getting a debaged 4 slat one) but on that black C coded black with chrome badges it looks sweet... Best thing to do is try ure own thing - if worst comes to worst u will jus hav to pick up a second hand grill to replace the bodged/altered/modded/painted one... GOOD LUCK!

Design 90's had problems searching for this even though im sure i read it on here before... 16's what size front and rear - 7 inch front and 8 inch rear ok? What size tyres? What adapters and spacers (or rather what mm thickness adapters as i guess these cud and do act as spacers as well?)

sweet also colours.. i believe they do them in quite a few - but i feel i wud go for the usual BLUE!

Anyone tried this? Does it at least sound correct in theory? Because the ignition live only becomes live when key is turned? So a switch (Sprung button type) that is connected to this and the starter motor would complete circuit when depressed? Is it that simple or have i missed something?

I understand that the 1800 16v are essentially the same engine jus wasnt sure of the postion of ancilaries (header tank - rad - etc) so didnt kno if the hoses fitted... Has anyone done this for sure? or are the part codes for a normal set of VAG hoses for 1800 16v corrado and golf the same? sorry if it seems like im asking the same question... jus want to make sure before i part with my money! anyone found them cheaper than £137???

u did... whats worse is i questioned myself whether u had a lhd or rhd corrado... OK it was late...!

sweet... so a push button starter would be connected to the black and red/black? so it only works wen key is in ignition? if it was thick red n thick red/black then it wud b able to fire all the time (even tho fuel pump wudnt be engaged)?

please can someone tell me wot each colour wire does on the wiring that plugs into the ignition switch?

Yeah... had a few niggly electric problems (starting mainly...) so checked all of fuses at the wknd... mite change it jus to sure...

Right... another niggly problem... The switch on dash board doesnt light up wen depressed?!?! And the window doesnt clear... is this a problem with switch or window (Im guessing at least the switch...) also to add to the problem... i think the hatch mite hav been replaced somewen in the cars life cos the lock doesnt work with the key but all electrics (Central locking, lights, wiper etc) work apart from heated screen???

Sweet... mite buy a new header tank too... cos the dodgy orange one isnt that appealin to the eye and err... in the sun not too easy to see how much water is in there... although that should be made easier with the coolant in there! cheers

OK... over weekend i had a proper look and its coming from the water pump itself... If i wanted to replace this - what other parts would i need? Jus the O ring - sorry to be a pain? whats it called on the GSF website? cheers in advance henny... lol

one of my thoughts was that it mite be a damaged wire... mayb pinched and worn somewhere... there is a half dead alram immobiliser thing lurking in engine bay tho :| and i kno my switch has died... hence the push button starter spliced into ignition loom (checked and rewired twice!) :| but also wen i push button when it doesnt turn over - the dash lights dim!

cheers mate... i had thought it was there (seeing as its belt driven?) if it is from around pump... what wud need replacing? seals? o rings? pump???
