SoundsAlarming, Why the hazard switch? That still makes the left ones work? kongo127, how do i check them? Where? I do not know alot hence all the questions!

Pain in the arse. checked fuse and relays and both seem fine! I am struggling to figure this out logical This is what happens when i.... Indicate left - dashboard turning signal flashes, and all 3 exterior lights flash (and obviously relay click). Indicate right - No dashboard light or any of exterior lights and no relay click. Depress Hazard Button - Left side works as per indicating but nothing on the right. My conclusion (please someone point out im wrong... please) NOT stalk cos when i use hazard button the right side doesnt work. NOT Relay as left side uses same one? NOT Fuse as left side uses same one? NOT bulbs cos all 3 would have blown at same time and wudnt the dashboard turning signal still work when indicating right? So it must be wiring from relay/fusebox to lights? or switches? F**kin C! :mad: PLEASE HELP?

Where was dry joint... i hav a different problem. My left indicators work... but my right ones dont.

oh n cheers storm! i swapped from ford to vw and bought meself a high mileage simple 1800 valver only to hav loads of lil faults and noticed that seems to be the trend on the board... guess its jus old cars! Ach well with a lil time - money and tlc she will be a proper gem! :mrgreen:

First stop was fuse and pushed all relays in - but all seemed to b in ok!?!? Which is the relay for indicators? mite jus clean pins...

I noticed tonite on the run home that when i indicate right nothing happens... no click - no dashlight flash no falshing bulbs front side or rear... Any ideas - the left works fine and when using the hazard button the left only works... Would this be a dodgy stalk? Surely not a fuse as this would affect both sides? Dodgy relay? Any one had the same problem?

fog lights are always expensive had to buy a pair for my old escort cossie... make vw prices look cheap! Even if the ford ones are the same in all cossies and xr2is RSTs etc... You would think for the money that they would hav made them a lil more resistant to crackin... is it jus the position of them or the design as well that makes them more prone to crackin than headlights?! Shit is that the time? Bed me thinks im waffling...

Im probably being dumb but cant find a thin red/black wire... Any pics of a starter motor with said wire where it should be. Are they all the same - for vr - g60's 16v's - Mines a 16 valver!!! PICS PLEASE?

Cheers... thought i did well fitting new ignition switch in 10-15 minutes... just my luck it wasnt that! ah well off to the driveway again...

Since fitting the new ignition switch i have exactly the same problem as before... nothing happens on last click when i turn ignition key! How can i check the starter motor to be positive its not that?!? Also i noticed with bonnet up that when i turn key after the fuel pump engages there is a continous quiet (electric sounding) whirring noise from a cylindrical part (label notes: 035 133 455 f - vdo 408 202/008/001) over the throttle housing - possibly connected to starter motor on injection rail? (please excuse my ignorance i know very little about engines - well corrado ones especially). Any help would be gratefully received - tired of bump starting me C!

GOOD NEWS! Fitted as per guide (albeit i didnt remove seat just lay upside down for 5 minutes... not comfy cos im 6foot3 but i was too lazy to take seat out... :lol: ) BAD NEWS! Still no joy with starting... exactly the same as before! :(

Cheers boys n gals... ordered my switch wednesday nite and arrived this morning - friday (all on cheapo normal delivery) cost about £13 including vat n delivery. Sat morning to fit it and hopefully i can start my car without having to push it! New to the whole corrado (and volkswagen) scene... always been a ford lad - yeah yeah... jus think this is a really helpful forum and glad to b a part of the "C" community!

(LC5U) And it'll cost £9.99 for a spray can, and £4.99 for a second one, as they would have to mix up slightly more. so i'll go for that. I sprayed my PS2 the same colour as my car 8) , and that came out ok, and i've done it before with a spoiler for my old car, so I think I can manage it, its just a case of taking your time, and sanding between coats :) Just wondering if your car was an early or late corrado? or more to the point would this grill n eyebrow fit my 1991 16v?

My fan only works on 4 and now makes a funky LOUD whirring noise... new fan time?

Having a problem with my C (1991 1800 16 valver) - what started as an intermittent starting problem now means the car wont start - hav to bump start it! Battery is fine and get usual fuel pump noise when turning the key - but nothing... Is this the same problem as described at top of the post and if so which part do i need to buy? part number? cheaper from http://www.gsfcarparts.com? Cheers...
