Many thanks to StueyB for the window switch, it arrived really fast. Top bloke! :notworthy:

The end that plugs onto the dizzy cap should unscrew, to allow you to slide the sensor on

Found this old pic from Ed38 a couple of years ago of me and a few dodgy Mods :D I'm the cheesy one in the middle

There's some useful info in here mate: viewtopic.php?f=23&t=72885

Car's looking great, I had a similar thing happen to me not long ago! I'm sure I've seen your car parked on Wakefiled Road?

It went in diagonal, and more or less stayed like that as it was wedged against one of the shelf supports. I used a load of cloths so nothing was damaged. I have witnesses too

I was trying to carry another one

I got a bonnet in the back of mine along with a passenger door, and without the passenger seat down too. Had to leave the tailgate behind though as there was no room left for it :D

Yeah it's really easy, just a case of soldering each end of the resistor to each side of the contact strip for the bulb. There's a pic on this thread here: viewtopic.php?f=3&t=64076&start=15 Hope this helps, Luke

I used these for my amber LED's: http://www.autobulbsdirect.co.uk/led-re ... 16458.html

Hi mate, early ones are ultra violet and the late ones are 'isometric'. Pics in this thread: viewtopic.php?f=19&t=20734&st=0&sk=t&sd=a&hilit=isometric

Just the inlet should do fine, don't think the exhaust cam makes a difference IIRC? As for the leads, the smaller ends which connect to the dizzy cap should unscrew so you can fit the sensor back on. I changed mine the other day :salute:

Hi Dave, could you PM me payment details for a kit for both pass and drivers door handles please Cheers, Luke -
They look like winter wheels of an Audi A8, I'm not 100% though..

Hi mate, my C was rear ended when I was stationery at traffic lights a few months ago - I bypassed my own insurance as they wanted me to pay my excess upfront etc and I would've lost my no claims (was 2 weeks before renewal) until they had claimed the costs back! While at my local VW bodyshop getting a quote for the work, they told me about a company that's part of VW that would deal with all the repairs and courtesy car costs and then claim all the costs back off the guy who was at fault. The repair work VW did was excellent and I had a Mk5 Gti as a courtesy car. The guy's insurance company sent me a cheque for £1k but I sent it straight back to them  Might be worth considering, no way should you have to lose your car as it wasn't your fault

Have a look in Toph's gallery there's pics of it in there :)

The prices on GPC website are the wrong way round and with carriage costs, aren't much cheaper than the stealers prices
-
Yes I'll defo be there all weekend camping again, was a good laugh last year even though I was with the missus and her twin sister  Might try and get mine in for a bit more paint before then though, and maybe get a convoy going nearer the time!
-
Glad to see its getting sorted mate, at least it's moved from your back garden! Had mine 5 and half years now and it's still WIP, and the house is always full of parts too! Be good to see it at a show or two this year 8)

Another option is to fit these: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/PORSCHE-911-964-993-924-944-928-SEAT-RELEASE-KNOB-SET_W0QQitemZ370013609937QQihZ024QQcategoryZ10408QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem Look a lot tidier than the standard rado ones IMO Oh and soz for the big link
