chav lowered suspension = GMAX specials ;) my lowered suspension = Eibach quality spot the difference

Sounds like the road past the Chimney Corner got a bit of use tonight Pablo  8) That senator is quite the funbox btw - he uses it for drifting comps. has a welded diff so its actually smoother to drift around a corner than it is to drive normally ;)
-
bite me andy ;) it was wet, two of us in the car and using a dash mounted gmeter timing jobbie good comparison tho :)
-
damn - edited :)
-
oh yeah mate very handy :D
-
just done some tentative tests and the corrado prevailed in both 0-60 and 1/4 mile :) it was damp tho so times werent great. 0-60: 7.4 vs 7.79 1/4: 15.x vs 16.25 the civic is a nice car tho and it *feels* faster than the C but the smoothness and refinement of the C are what I like. -pablo

lol I know the guy in question so Ill go race him ;)

I dont mind doing a quick guide on the rings but Im still not happy about a few aspects of it so will wait until I have those nailed first :)
-
mine are rings into existing lights but the ones above look like E36 bmw lights or similar. pretty easy to install the rings.

I had some fun in a hire car through the mountains from montreal to boston - great day and good craic. only downside was the stoopid car topped out at 110 :( oh and the blizzard on the way home ;)

yeah alpine are main stream but would be nice if all you wanted was pretty amps. the sinfonis are something else tho. not many around, handmade in italy, plenty of power. just lush :D
-
zapco are excellent mate. Lack the bling of the sinfonis tho imo. if you want more info on the sinfonis email mailto:[email protected] and say I sent you. Amit is a good guy and very helpful.
-
ah i see :) in that case the alpine amps look very bling with the silver covers polished :D

Ive just ordered this one for my C so Ill let you know how it goes :) http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/product ... ed090bda19

lol its still a 325 either way and no match for the C :) Im still near sure the Xi was sold over here in E46 format. 8)
-
german import?
-
yeah Im near sure its an option alright.
-
Various owners have stated that the only E46's spared this steering boost and loss in road feel are those equipped with the all wheel drive option (i.e. Xi's). there you go.
-
isnt the Xi a 4wd coupe/saloon 3series?
-
my 1995 318ti was better built than my C to be fair. the C is much more fun tho :D
-
kev cos going tail out isnt a sh!t attack like it is in the C ;) seriously tho the 330 feels much more solid on the road that the C - very purposeful when cornering etc. the vr6 is all front which gets a bit hairy sometimes

I can sit with my mates 330Ci. we sat on a long track side by side in 3rd gear and nailed it and it was pure neck and neck - no movement at all. he has longer legs in 4th tho at 100+ and was pulling away. off the line was tough to call - they have these wierd clutch setups that lets them slip a bit under heavy load. its getting pulled right out tho ;) all in all there is not a thing in it really bar at silly speeds so Im sure an X3/X5 would be no problem.
