    EXHAUST DILEMA

I wish we can get the Magnex here in the states. I love the way their oval tip looks. I had a Supersprint, the fitment was poor. The exhaust shop had to fabricate new hangars on the rear for the muffler to fit straight.

    Battery tray

There is a battery tray? Mine just sits in the engine bay and held in place with a bracket.
  3. Its kinda a feeler. I don't know what to do. I'm just torn between selling and not selling...but it can really offset the price of the cams. I don't know. The wheel is either a 350 or 360mm.
  4. I've got one...seems like the guys here are willing to pay up to 400usd for one. I'm thinking of selling it, since the Schrick cams I bought put me over buget. It feels really big inside a Corrado...kind of like driving a bus. I know I may regret selling it since it is very difficult to find. Would you sell? The wheel in question.
  5. Thats because you are a true gangster. :-P
  6. Go onto VWVortex.com and search "heizervr6".
  7. Yes you can. You'll need the motors and the headlight swtich with the levelers. Also your going to need a pair of euro spec lights too...its not going to work in your US candle power lights. You can't get them at your local VW stealer. Wiring shouldn't be too difficult.
  8. Lol...I though everything was switched on right hande cars! If its your heater matrix...you'd should smell coolant and steam should be coming out of your vents. Check the drain hole next to the air vent under the scuttle.
  9. Its basically a light leveling motor. You have a vertical adjuster right next to the headlight switch. Then a pair of electrical motors that go where the manual adjusters go.
  10. Next to the fresh air vent under the scuttle, should be a drain hole...use a wire to clean it out. Chances are, its clogged and water in entering through the air vent.
  11. Where do want me to send it to? :norty:
  12. The 248's are more of a turbo type cam. VF actually recommends the 264/260 for their charger kits.
  13. Lol...I'm still waiting for a LHD version...
  14. I don't have my chart anymore...but its a difference I can feel. I used to have a dead spot from 2500 to 4k. With the Schrick...you can feel the pickup from ~2500 on. On my chart...not only did it bump the torque, it also kept it more consistant all the way to boost at 4k. The SC in sense works the same way as the Schrick 268's...it robs a bit of the low/midrange in order to give you that top end. The Schrick is a good compliment to the SC. It give you a significant amount of the torque in the midrange and once above 4k the charger takes over. The only strange thing you will feel is the switch over point at 4k. If you can get a good deal on the Schrick...its worth it! After the new year...I have a pair of Schrick 264/260 cams going in...we'll see how that goes.

    BBS RS 301

The only thing that makes it seem like alot of people have them is the internet. All I know is that I'm the only one in So Cal...maybe in the state of California...maybe the south western part of the country with them on a Corrado right now. The BBS RS (regardless of model number) is still one of the most desired wheels for any car.

Done to death...but people are still wanting to pay top dollar for them. Once people are not willing to pay for them...then they'll be dead...for the meantime...they are still hot on the market. I read on Vortex that there was only 100 sets of the 301's made...that seems really low.

    BBS RS 301

Anybody know how many sets or wheels were produced? I also heard that the 301 was made specifically for the Corrado. Pic 4 click
  21. Do the stainless lines also when you change the brakes...they'll make more of a difference than the rotors.
