When I did my conversion I used the mk4 factory hoses. Neuspeed has just about every make of VW for the brake lines. Even if you don't have the 312's...its still worth it to get the lines.
-
Haha...that explains it all. :rambo: :rambo: :rambo:

For the guys that are going to do the conversion (and to the ones that already did it), I highly recommend switching to the stainless steel brake lines also. I had them fitted last weekend and what a difference it made! The brake pedal felt much firmer. If you want your 312 brakes to work to their full potential...get the brake lines.

Oh man...now your just asking for trouble.
-
Does boring the engine that much not cause problems with engine structural stability? isnt it weekening the engine? I imagine the cylinder wall would be paper thin. How would you fit a "liner"?
-
HA!!!!! Way ahead of you - already got one and its fitted :) :) ...and i s'pose a £4.5k ABT Billet Steel long throw crank, purpose milled piston crowns, Stainless Steel Spacer head gasket, ARP Head Bolts, and stage 2 charger kit with lightened flywheel, 6-speed and lsd is a **** setup/engine?????????????????????????? Cheeky Git...... Wheres some info from the guys on the other side of the pond??? So Cal etc.... you guys must have some good info and links for juicy vr bits.... There are a number of small tuner shops that do build custom motors. We usually don't go the stroker route with crankshafts, instead we'll usually go with a larger bore and larger pistons. The guys that want all out power will just go with a stock block and go turbo. There are plenty of US turbo cars that are daily driven with 400+ wheel horsepower. The guys that fully build their motors are usually using their cars strictly for drag racing. If you want to go fast...go turbo...it'll still be faster than a built VR with a SC.

The most I've seen with my own eyes is around 190ish wheel horse power from a 3 liter. I've have yet to see one break 200 whp. The power comes from the cylinder head...and our 12v heads are not that efficient.

C2 has no software for the Corrado. I know this as fact...so I don't know what's going to run the car. The only OBD 1 software they have is for 95 Golf. Support is going to be sketchy, as they are a small operation here in the US. They are hard enough to get a hold of here...imagine overseas. The only advantage to the C2 package is the V1 charger. It will make more power than VF's V9...if you have the proper software to run it.

Awesome car man! Is the car getting shot by a magazine? PVW needs to re-shoot the car. -
