Golf GTI with the plaid interior, PP pack with some optional 19 alloys SOLD BMW 1 series sounds fun but seriously crap space inside and the golf is a better place to be in IMO. Not a fan of modern Vauxhall's and also never been a fan of the Civic . Ford Focus will be a good car but easy pickings for car thief's. Seat good cars by why by a Seat if if can have a VW? -
Also whilst at Amos , I'm not sure if the member is on here but there is a black Corrado on the ramp and the engine has been forged and at present running over 500 bhp and over 20k spent on the engine , if the owner of this car is on the forum would be good if you could introduce yourself and tell us a bit about your car. The chrome bilstein coil over looked amazing with the blue springs.

Contact Amos near Castle Donnington not to far from where they had Fantazia 92. https://www.amosmotors.co.uk/

Popped down Amos in Derbyshire this week . My car did not come with the original inlet manifold and although I have a Shrick it's good to have the original to go with the car. I was very happy to stumble across this , the last owner did a nice polish and black combo, reasonably priced and Amos fitted a obsolete top door card trim that he also sold me. He also has the engine covers and trims for sale.

It has a campaign model for sale as well. I would say it had to be the Oettinger car , I would want to revert the leather interior back to black. This dealer had some bloody nice cars, bet the nugget yellow G60 was cool. One car is described as having Westwood alloys , not my cup of tea.

Not myself I'm afraid. It could be the fan switch as well which I have also circled.

Yeah don't worry about the head gasket I think the lads with turbos they can go up to 120 , these blocks can take a bit of heat. Have you found the main plug yet that fits in the back of the fan, the same happened to me apart from coolant leaking, heard the bubbling from inside the cab and pulled over the plug was slightly dislodged. Start off with the easy stuff to illuminate. Attached picture of plug also check the cabling is intact at the back of the plug.

Thanks for doing your bit Anna. Front Fog/indicator lights and bottom outer and inner window scrapers would be a bonus, any chance you can ask vintage rubber from the USA to send you over some samples, maybe strike up a relationship with them. We need the basics to keep the cars on the road. http://vintagerubber.com/volkswagen/corrado/

The large plug is connected to the back of the fan motor behind the radiator.
-
Have you checked if the plug is fitted in correctly at the back of the fan , they need to be pushed in really tight, also the bubbling at 110 sounds like air inside the system which might indicate that someone has had a hose off lately or changed the coolant , it should bleed by itself. Give the engine a run the fan should come on between 95 and a 100 and see if the fan comes on after you have given the main ffan plug a good push in, if it does then problem solved. The coolant should not escape at 110 so you have a weak hose or tank, however under 110 they might not leak as it's under less pressure, I know a lot of aftermarket hoses leak at 110 as not as well manufactured as Stock hoses.

This looks like a very nice motor . can't remember the last time I saw one of these on the road. They built less of these then the Audi Quattro and rarer, they are going to go up very steeply in the next few year imo. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/113761413990?_trksid=p2047675.m570.l5999&_trkparms=gh1g%3DI113761413990.N36.S1.R1.TR4 -

I would Rob, as Jon says on his thread parts for sale, " open to offers " . Then you will have the best quality/stock pump and sender on the market for a VR6, should last 20 years. Cheers.
