1. In all likely hood you will not sell it on here so good job you're in no rush to sell it. I dare say the link of the car that was sold that the buyer did not hold on a bit longer and purchased your car, as yours really has had the full monty minus the chains and probably a better buy.
2. Autotrader will be the best place to sell this car in my opinion, as Dox has mentioned in past posts everyone on here has all ready got a Rado. I just sold an R129 that was 7k over other cars with similar mileage but had done to it what you have done to your Rado, there are buyers out there that appreciate what you have put into a car is what its worth. Very well maintained / healthy car by the way, best of luck in the sale.
3. It's a shame that spoonfed that is probably one 2oth of the size of VW Heritage can come up with these parts and Heritage cannot produce them in the UK with its financial clout .
4. All accounted for thanks Jon. It really is worth snapping these obsolete parts up when available.
5. Thanks P, That is a huge bonus with the speedlines, so quick to clean and they do sit so well on the car with the deep tyres. Yes well worth getting a new exhaust system chap is the old one is tatty, they are good value compared to other catbacks on the market, I would consider the CAT + gasket to as they are only £65,00 and really good quality, also is your 02 sensor OK ? I know its more to stretch but if you can get a manifold gasket, cat + gasket+ O2 sensor , your all the way from the engine block to the rear tip, you've refurbished that whole area, the down pipes tend to be pretty robust so I just kept mine. Labour would not cost much more with Vince. Ill get some pics of the golf and rado together soon the headline will be something like Happy and the grumpy hooligan.
6. Few updates folks. Giving the VOO DOO queen a bit of attention today. She is back on her Speed lines because I have sent the BBS RS771 split rims off to be sprayed silver, I purchased them second hand off ebay in dark grey and I prefer the stock silver with a polished rim. I must say the Speed lines show off the red brake calipers very well I might well keep them on. I do like the stock wheels. Got a lovely red VR6 front grill decal off Rembrandt too match the red calipers , totally recommend this guy!! Absolute must have IMO.
7. I second that got my parcel today nice one Jon.
8. Hi Fla, I'm familiar with a catch can as I fitted a JLT oil catch can to a S550 Mustang GT a couple of years ago and you did not need to delete anything, it did collect a fair bit of residue, however the Corrado the breather is connected to evap system and back to the block , so I would not fit a catch can personally as it upsets several components , I think a proper job is to get the valve seals done at some point. Primarily the evap will release nasty fuel gasses through the blue solenoid that build up within the charcoal cannister, then through to the breather back in to the engine block to get burnt off. This would mean you would have these fumes venting into your engine bay into the cabin if left open or if blocked could blow up your charcoal canister.
9. Does anyone else get a little bit of blowby oil that drops out of the oil breather hose that joins to the intake elbow and drops on the chrome plate underneath , I believe this is pretty common on a VR6. ?? Ive changed my pcv valve and breather hose but still get a little as you can see its residue on the plate below.
10. Good to see the car finally went to a good home, and it got the manual it deserved. Another great example of why a Forum is so much better then facebook.
11. Afer a reg check seems like the car is no more unless it has a private registration. Ironically the op would have a smirk on his face as RS Turbos are fetching more then the VR6, however his looked totally chaved out so maybe not.
12. Only catch it is an Auto.
13. Hi Jon, I will have the bonnet spring set cheers chap. Cheers will PM.
14. Reserve bonnett spring set, need to check mine first Jon this evening, cheers.
15. This looks a safe bet. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VW-Corrado-VR6-2-9-Black-Manual-Not-G60-Storm-8v-16v-Golf-Vento-Jetta/192919224034?hash=item2ceae1bee2:g:zFoAAOSwQKlc3l1S
16. To get a Rado in good condition and purchase you are looking at 10k this it totally fact. Remember folks people forked out good money for these cars back in the 90s new. If you look at the link below it will show you what a Rado VR6 would cost new in today's money. £40K base price - with options £45K https://www.bankofengland.co.uk/monetary-policy/inflation/inflation-calculator
17. Im not sure why they had 4 exhausts to be honest, it sort of clutters up the rear butt of the car, don't get me wrong I'm sure it's a blast to drive and would wipe the florr with a GTI, I'm just loyal to the GTI brand and its sentimental to me.
18. I would say my fuel pump has def never been changed as the screw cap looks absolutely brand spanking new in my car !!!
19. Very nice colour in Night Blue Jon, looks great with the contrasting red GTI stripe.
20. I have the interior door sill trims and the deep pile carpets off them, both very good quality. You should 100 % bring over Hood release horns VR6 Front fenders Cheers.
21. I went manual chap bit old skool with the old gear box like to be the main decision maker not the computer. Also I imagine white stays cooler then other cars in the sun.
22. Thanks Pfnsht the list you written is my exact thoughts, you tend to see a lot more chavs in the R models to , sorry for those that are not. I actually went for a White one which has not been my first choice in the past because of the Essex brigade, however I think VW's look so cool in white ie like your Rado, also the white contrasts really nicely with the black accents, chrome and shadow alloys and plaid interior. The car also had a few extras which I was looking for, Performance Pack, 19' alloys, 3 doors (no keyless start + thiefs like the 5 doors to get all the crooks in and out quick), Nav, and winter pack so cant wait to pick her up tomorrow. I will wait in till the warranty runs out in 9 months and have a chat to Vince, 310 BHP just makes me laugh , that is only 10 bhp less then a 911 997.1!!
23. Thanks Jon just paid you over for them parts much appreciated fellow . I will have a look into them companies I have heard of Montune they are partners with Ford and you still get to hold your warranty, I know this would be not the case with VW but Ford must trust them to keep the three year warranty on a tuned car.
24. Keyo

Cup holder

These look good can I have one please Matt, I can pay via Paypal, please can you PM details Mate. Cheers
25. I have an extinguisher and it fits just right inside the glove box with my 10 mm spanner to isolate the battery if required, the thing is I bet some of these fires are caused by shoddy workmanship .
