Ive just had my 16v in for its mot Now its failed on the emissions being to high Any pointers on where to start with diagnoising the reason?? Vag.com scan brought up only one fault i am aware of which was throttle sensor

picked the car up today and paint work & new windscreen fitment looks spot on Cars now gone for ignition timing setup, mot, full pressure brake bleed & new battery Had a quick play on vag.com Erased a couple of fault codes on the abs & found the tb postion sensor as a fault ran out of time looking into other things but a great program, first time i ever used it -

The metal was still solid, bodyshop said there were 2 very small holes appearing at bottom of pass a pillar which they have sorted windscreen was removed by auto windscreens on insurance, they were happy to come out, take the cracked one out then come back few days later after the work had been done just for the cost of the glass cover on my policy the screen that was in had been overly added with sealant & may the fitter swear a couple of times on removal, took him about an hour to remove -

Not done anything with this for a while, work & health getting the way But have fitted g60 brakes, mk4 rear calipers new solid brake pipe from abs Had the broken windscreen removed to see the extent of rust damage underneath that needed attention Then had the bodyshop work there magic ready for the new windscreen going in -

I've not done much to it as yet matey, swapped all the brakes over to mine, rear strut brace, wheels couple other little bits The arbs are next on the list but gonna get a garage to do this so can go up on the ramps its good as gold, cv boots the only thing i can see on drivers side

Lovely Thats what i thought I rang my current insurers to see if i could get a couple of weeks temp cover on the car based on the fact i have 2 full policys with them but if i understood right couldnt do it in the office but could on there site. just need to get the cover sorted then in for the mot it goes

I'm looking into getting jims old corrado into the mot sation Now it has no mot, no tax & isn't insured at the moment Is it possible to get it insured for a couple of weeks & have it booked just to go to the mot station? these new laws that have come in i'm not sure about yet with regards to this

spent saturday finishing off swapping the brakes between the 2 cars fitting a new flexi & front solid pipe Bled both cars brakes, ran then both upto temp and a quick spin round the block Red one is off for mot within next couple of weeks

Swapped over the 280mm & mk4 rears from the red c to my blue one just need a new hard pipe for mine & flexi for old caliper Fitted the borbet c's Rear strut brace swapped over New alpine 9883r unit & changer which i picked up for £60
