Go and buy it! There is no decision to make by the sounds of it, it has already been made! 8) Anybody else on this forum gone from VR to S3 ownership and regretted it?
-
I thought the original CRX coupe was an attractive looking car.... although perhaps not this one...
-
Is it really worth paying an £8-9k premium over the VR (£5-6k) to get an S3? I.e. is it a 65% better car? Plus your VR is awesome! What is the S3 forum like anyway? The VR is a future classic, could you say the same about an S3? Why not just get the squeeks and rattles sorted out and spent part of the money you were going to spend on the S3 on a supercharger... At least wait a year, until my insurance comes down a bit so I can afford a C with a Schrick and I will buy yours! :)

Mods please delete the last post by Neil G60... in section 29, paragraph 6 in the Corrado Forum rules it states that the words "Saxo" and "Corrado" cannot be used in the same paragraph. Mods you know what to do.
-
Yep, fair play. But it is getting bitter now, using the words chav and corrado in the same sentence, ouch...
-
Anybody know what's going on with their website?
-
kerrinmay, what colour are your plastics? Black or grey. If they are black then go for black carpets. I have grey seats but black plastics, so went for black mats. If grey plastics then maybe go for grey mats. But hey its your preference at the end of the day. Sure what ever you got, black or grey, would look fine. Cheers F

Try GPC in Luton they are £55 each. I need to do mine too sometime. Cheers F

Got some black ones the other day from VW, look really cool. Corrado logo in silver. I have stuck a small heal mat over the top of them to hopefully keep them looking okay for a while. Yep, VW did make in different colours.

Sounds nice! Recon with that mileage and if it is mint outside and in, it would normally be advertised at about £6,500 - £7,500 in Trader? Definate premium over a std L reg.- having that leather and mileage. Worth fixing the SR. Any photo's?
-
Yep, don't think you can get them anywhere anymore, even GPC don't do them. Will have to keep an eye out on ebay or maybe a forum member has one kicking around? Good luck

Bodywork and paintwork looks really clean though! Looking good. Just a valet inside and a wheel refurb and it will look 8) Can you not stick the G60 BBS' from the other car onto this one, would look excellent! Something like this (G60 currently on trader):
-
Another thanks to H100VW - loom very thick and well insulated, top quality wiring + swift delivery. Bought two, one for the guy that works on my car (and he is over the moon too), and me. What a difference this mod makes, being able to see where you are going - if there is one mod you are going to do to the C then this is it! H100VW - excellent to do business with, very highly recommended! :D

Hmm that apply to Silver Cs? At least not that common...

They are getting better though, had an Alfa 147 for a year and nothing went wrong with it, felt well put together and solid too, great fun to drive. Dark red leather was amazing too. Best bit was the the dash was so well designed. The speedo could only be seen by the driver! You could get away with so much while the girlfriend was nattering. Had it up to 120mph (on a disused airfield of course) and the girlfriend didn't even notice. Now I get a clip round the ear everytime I am 5 miles over the speed limit as everybody can see it in a C. Wouldn't say no to the new Alfa GT... pitty about the cr.p depreciation though, hence I have a C. - I guess that comment went full circle... Can't blame you for going for an S3 though. Good luck. I will happilly buy your C when you are done!
-
I agree, if I was going to change from a corrado and spend between 10-20k it would have to be something really rare and special.... maybe an alfa SZ ... with 3.5 lt v6, I think only a couple of hundred made it to the uk and zagato designed- rarer than a storm. Or perhaps a really decent low miler Lancia Delta HF integrale Evo, the original and best.... problem is LHD though.... Anyway, dont do it!
-
vwdubs, I agree what the hell is going on :?: I thought the C was a sports coupe, not a utility vehicle...
-
Got to post some more pictures when you get a chance! I love those silver C's, although I am a bit biased. :) Good luck selling the red one, I recon that is a steal! Looks a really nice car, esp with those G60 BBS'.
-
Just checking, how low before you get the bump noise. Mines lowered on Koni T/As and eibach springs - about 35mm. Considering the original zorst - will I get a bumping ex?
-
Would feel guilty about changing it myself. Is that the original exhaust too? Wheels look mint too. Maybe just the headlight wiring loom and then keep it in the garage just for weekends to keep the mileage down.

SOME OF THE WORST CORRADOS EVER... RICED !!!!!!! NOOOOOO ;-)
Ford replied to chris CORRADO's topic in Exterior
Is there no way of deleting this entire thread Mods? It makes me feel ill. Or maybe it should stay to serve as a warning to those considering putting aeroplane wings on the back on thier Cs. What a waste...
