  1. I should add that the company that helped me move the Lambda was the same company that Manufactures G-Werks exhausts sytems and they did a top job so thanks Darren.
  2. My first thought would be with Trigger, but quite rightly as he said it could be a number of things. If its your drivers side bearing it would have been more noticeable on roundabouts when you are stearing into it if its really knackered as it would be putting all the pressure on it. The sounds would be more like a whine(whistle) though, a groan sounds more like metal/rubber like mounts/bushes etc.
  3. If you got to low the springs will just not be doing their job, you will have the suspension bouncing around on the bumpstops feeling like a piece of shit.
  4. Haha H8rra, Old age kicking in is it chap, think you have repeated yourself a little there. However he may well have repeated himself but he is spot on after looking into this for you, its the split pins and locking nuts.
  5. Not being funny but why dont you just call the garage now the mechanic is probably back and ask him as us lot guessing aint going to give you much help.
  6. After recently looking into this I found some really decent ones but you need a spare Corrado in your pocket as they cost 1800 GBP. Other than that I think I have finally found a corner in the market as I could just not find any wide enough/correct angle
  7. I would assume that you have a manual override under the bonnet, if you have a small key with your alarm system check under the bonnet.
  8. Thats what is obviously missing Coxy if I buy the 4 door seats, the seats I am looking at are http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/AUDI-A3-2004-2-TO ... dZViewItem This guy had them for sale about 2 weeks agao and they sold so I am not quite sure what is going on there.
  9. Ok has anyone done this? Would I have to change the whole frame or could I get away with just the mechanism put in place. Could I get away with just sliding the seat forwards to let passengers in do you think? Basically I have seen some stunning seats for my Raddo but they are 4 door.
  10. Thanks for all your advice guys, the claim form is indeed in the hands of my legal team sent recorded delivery, faxed and photocopied (all blank). My stress level is back to overfilling rather than flooding out.
  11. Yep, just rang insurance company and confirmed I have Legal cover but that department is closed and spoken to Pappa Pearce the old man of wisdom who said the same as you Walesy
  12. OK, on the 4th of July 2005 I was on the ring road in Oxford where I come to a roundabout, I am going straight over this roundabout (duel Lane) when an idiot in a golf in the wrong lane is going all around the roundabout in the outside lane to go over to the right. I had to slam on the brakes turn the car away from the direction I was going and luckily for him only hit his wing and done my wing in. Ok so I wasnt happy and expected it to go to a 50/50 scenario even though I knew it was his fault. It eventually got settled as a 50/50 even though I disputed this all the way through. Now today I arrive home to find he has filed a Claim Form for 1460.07 against me stating it was my fault for not seeing him and suddenly changing lanes, he has put down 1821.25 for Car Hire (now excuse me for a wing and car that was still driveable nps) 300 policy excess, and then 8% interest. I have got no idea how this amounts to 1460.07 but that aside I need to know what the hell I do. The best bit is this, as we were on a roundabout we both moved over away from the scene to talk about Insurance companies etc so I have no witnesses, whereas he had a best mate in the car. I have 14 days to reply, my insurance company is closed this evening and I need to know if anyone has been in the same position. Can I get my insurance company to deal with this if I have Legal Cover? If not who else can help me? Would consulting Citizen Advice Burea help? Any advise is glady welcome.

If you do a search its fuse number 16 that may have blown, this has been discussed shed loads of times as mine is still not working by manual or auto, next check is power getting to motor and the motor for me.
  14. Miltek Full Exhaust system fitted about 2 mths ago by myself and was coming from Cornwall to Wales after having driven to Cornwall from Oxford on Christmas Eve
  15. Indeed it was DaleVR6, I even asked about 10 people who were in there and I know the landlord and he didnt know either. I ended up having 2 pints of Lager top there driving home, getting a lift back and ya motor was still there drinking 7 more pints going home again, getting a lift down again and drinking a further 2 pints before hitting Torpoint town and I dont often drink. 100 Squid later in cheapy Cornwall I was too say the least fakiiiiiiiiiiiin hammered, my 31 yr old head can nay cope anymore.
  16. Hello mate, That was me at the Seven Crossing, had just driven back from family in Cornwall where I also spotted a VR6 in blue on an N plate with NRG reg oarked in Carbeile pub car park and a Silver unkown plate or model crossing the Saltash bridge, sos didnt see much off ya as I was hammering it down from Oxford to Cornwall that night.
  17. The reason why one side rubs is the inner arch is different and there is less space.
  18. I would say the back is definately a polo hatch..
  19. I have run 17's for a year now and am heading back down to 16's because of the ride. But as everyone states its down to personal choice. I also think the 18s just look rediculous but again thats my personal opinion.

    erratic

Out of interest is this only when it is cold? Mine has started to do exactly the same thing and it is over fuelling but as soon as engine is up to temperature its fine. Im thinking some sender or fuel control over compensating when its cold

    sticky revs

As above just done mine and what an improvement on throttle response, It does take about 20 mins total as you need to take off all the plastic surrounding under the dash to get to this easily. As I also forgot to order the bung I just turned the old bung around to an unwarn area. For the price of a night out and anyone having a car older than 10 years I would recommend this change as a must. p.s Thanks for the quick guide Henny
