Sounds like I was being a numpty as I have thought, now sitting down for a smoke to chill myself out. I was trying to just turn the bottom one anti-clockwise without holding the top or turning the top clockwise. You have just confirmed for me that I should have been turning both at the same time and unlocking them. Only just put them on but they had been on another G60 for 6 mths from new so it should be doable if i sort my head out and do it first thing tom morning :) Thx for the input and Super for answering pm.

Having just tried to adjust my coilovers they just wont budge. Someone has already mentioned just trying to oil them. Anyone else got any ideas? Just to ensure im not being stupid- The bottom adjuster is the locking adjust and needs to be turned anti-clockwise and the top adjuster needs to be turned clockwise (this is to heighten it) as its too low. Should I be using both spanners at the same time and twisting both in the opposite direction or should I just be able to turn the bottom adjuster anti-clockwise then adjust the top one? (currently they wont budge) As always I really appreciate any feedback

Hello Guys, Long time no speak but thats life :) My G60 Corrado downpipe took a turn for the worse when it was belted by some parts lieing on some back road at the weekend and after pushing the motor hard on the motorway I am pretty sure we have a serious hole now. First question. How easy is it to change and has anyone got a rough guide. Second Question. Any idea of costs? Who could possibly supply a stainless steel downpipe and have you got contact details?

Not totally sure but Venom Motorsport might do one. If not try the VWPerformance mag

Thorpey that would have been my raddo as I was popping over to say Happy New Year to Daz and Steve. From Oxford to Littlehampton I managed to flash 4 raddos one being yours :)

I played a game of Corrado against some blinde olde bint in a Rover last night, all brakes locked up just gliding towards her as she cut me up like a beauty.. Luckily my slide was a controlled slide and I could cope with horn at the same time, still checked the raddo after as I was certain we had hit, but nope another getaway from a mad driver.

Welcome ya little Monkey..... If you dont want the leather and would love some immaculate grey cloth let me know :)

Just as a quick note, I was informed about some excellent freeware software yesterday called GIMP. I took this programme home from work yesterday and it really is magic.. Graphic Image Manipulation Programme
-
Full respect to that man, now thats a change to the Corrado that looks right :)

I am sorry to say this with you having done all of that hard work, but I think the Raddo looks absolutely dire inside and out.. My opinions hopefully not worth a lot as I feel bad saying it. For Effort I Give you 11 out of 10 for end product I would say 1 out of 10. I do however appreciate the Golf and all of the work you have done. The problem for me is not what work you have done on the outside/inside of the Raddo but that I really am a minimist and love it to look good but without changing too much.

I am lucky to see 28mpg, perhaps I should try this new age 90 mph driving

Perhaps remind her just how comfortable the Corrado seats are :)

Well guys/gals. I have finally come to the conclusion that my Corrado has taken priority over all else in life including work, I even sit at work and think Raddo. Perhaps the phrase is a "Raddo Spotter" just that in this case it has some stance and quality attached to the spotter. I have even decided to cancel my holiday to Spain in March and lose the £150 deposit as I would rather throw the money at the car. Just how obsessed are we all!

Take a look at this post G60 DUB and send John a private message. http://the-corrado.net/.archive/forum/viewtopic.php?t=15522

Ok, This admin charge thing is absolute bull, having worked for many organisations who charge "An admin charge" for changes. In pretty much 90% of all the cases its down to the sales person you are talking to on the phone and him making money from you for having to do some work for you. I would say he could charge you whatever admin fee he wanted to and he made a percentage of that £50. Never ever accept an admin fee. Doh I have given away yet another of my income ploys....

AMD Technik, Bicester. Inc VAT Front mount £141 Rear Mount £135 Gearbox Mount £61 But JMR do the front engine mount for £70 and I have been told that its excellent so I would consider the front mount from them.
-
Thx Daz :) Ok peeps, fitted the rear engine mount and Gearbox engine mount this weekend, now all 3 are done the improvement is immense. The acceleration is smoother than a babys bum, the cornering is 5 times better as obviously that engine aint moving, the gear change is much much sweeter. (not to say that OEM might have been the same) or JMR front mount, But Im very happy with the Vibra-Tech outcome So now its time for the suspension :-P

If anyone hears a story about a Blue Raddo and Silver Golf Mark5 (poss GTI) having a race down the A34 this evening at 5.20, he turned off just after the M4. we both got up to about *** and then I pulled away ever so slightly and decided it best to calm down, respect to the Golf driver if you know him
