I tried to email dr camshafts in the us re some cams for my vr and my mates 16v twin 45'd rocco. but the email on their site bounced back. anyone got the right email for them?? also whats obd and abv mean re the vr6??

Yeah thats a big shame that they are not gonna be manufactured in UK any more. Was actually a really nice car and the whole idea of loads of grunt and no weight was cool. This thing had the TVR power v8 and was mentally quick. He had to sell it moving house and now has a firblade powered 7 thing.

yeah its quality. got a passenger ride as some other bloke bottled it. a few others were saying that its scarey but ithought that its was brilliant and not scarey at all. would love to buy it for the track. my mates 450bhp cerbra was scarey. felt like it might kill us at any second. dunno if that's because it was made from crisp packets in blackpool!

had my chains done recently (car on 131k) and it feels lik,e a new engine. quality, and peace of mind as they were shot. well worth doin when you can afford, and welcome to my world of throwing money at my rado!

only had my mobile with me. will try and get some in car of the green 1.8t which was simply awesome

rolling road day where my mates 2.8 vr6 (chipped, exhaust and induction) made 196 bhp! 200 sx made 337, and stealth caorrado 350+bhp. went out in it and its kin quick!

Had the car on the rollers at Stealth on sunday. Have recently had timimg chains, auxillary water pump and some other bits and bobs done by a couple of friends, Paul Ridgely and Shamrock. Was a bit worried about the car going bang on the rollers and was expecting less than the 194 bhp it made last time. The 199.9 bhp it made yesterday was a very pleasant surprise.

A scirocco gt II with the 8 valve torn out and a tuned mk II 16v lump put in with freshly fitted 45 dcoe's owned by my mate hank. It pulls really well and think it has lumpy cam aswell. Being rollin roaded at stealth on sunday!

also have to drive back to eastbourne from wycombe tonight and really need to have mind at ease that it won't cain my engine!!!! could it just be old clip?? car has had new rad twice, gear box out etcso hose on a nd off a few times??

had timing chains, electric water pump and some other bits changed on the weekend, and whilst out driving, the top hose was blown off and all the coolant pissed out! hose put back onand the original spring clip replaced with a jubilee clip. what would make the hose come off. all the temps were fine and i wasn't bootin it. mechanic triple checked all last night and took out for hard test drive and all good. am stumped as to why this has happened. n.b. head gasket started to leak a bit too, would this affect???

taking a friend of a friend out in the car and giving it the full beans he said "goes well, what is it? a 2 litre?" everyone at my local dealer is very nice about the car, quickly followed by a list of expensive jobs or a big bill

Had my coil pack leads and a new lamda sensor fitted a few weeks ago, and now on some occasions my car takes ages to start. the starter cranks over but the car stutters into life, or i have to blip the throttle to sort of clear its throat so to speak. before this the car started on the button every time. its done 130k and i am having the chains done at the weekend. I'm hoping that its a timimg thing? any ideas?? :roll:

with the door still locked??? how?? i had the door off a while back investigating a leak but could not get the whole thing off. stuck on something down by the speaker. was there a screw i missed???

As from yesterday, when i unlock my car, the door pin on the passenger side moves slightly and then back to the locked position and i cannot open the passenger door. The car has a Clifford alarm and immobiliser fitted. What could be the cause and the possibel cure?? Is there any way to get the door open or the doorcard off with the door still locked shut?? Very lost at what to do!!! thanks matt :(
