  1. what up wonga! sounds like a good buy stick some pics up!!! i remember first driving my corrado. it was just so good. still feels good now! a timeless car, for sure. the best mk2 golf money can buy.
  2. i dont think mk3 door handles will easily go on a corrado for that kind of change you want to be grafting the whole part of the door skin with the handle into your door. perhaps source some more doors, and mod them. or source some tatty doors, and run them on your car while you are modding your good doors!
  3. minter. and is that the first aid kit i see? what a top looking car. i expect you will suffer emotionally when you see this drive off into the sunset without you at the wheel

    bush or no bush

welcome to the board ghost i'm sure someone here will know!!! which bushes are you speaking of btw?
  5. like skidding, i guess!!!!!!!!!!!! so the moral here is drive carefully and sort yonder abs out.
  6. ok i trust you. but if it looks like the shroud of turin after, its going on ebay . . .
  7. good tip i will try that. it doesnt go all patchy afterwards does it?
  8. then surely the car should not even be on the road now.
  9. L666 COR thats a cool plate. cooler than GAY 80Y anyway ;)
  10. right then i just managed 32 mpg on a 10 mile run. with a bit of creative freewheeling . . .

    no dip beam!!!

when i had that problem on a golf, it turned out to be the stalk (on the steering column)
  12. thread lock eh good call. i would probably have omitted that. good heads up on the gaters too. if they dont come with the rods i'll get them aswell
  13. my corrado definately aint a she. and it doesnt have a name as such. and i love the trundlebus website. precise, and to the point.
  14. get the fluid changed, and the pedal feel should return. vr6 brakes are awesome in standard form. unless you are regularly doing emergency stops from 100+ just run what ya brung!
  15. i'll have the car on a lift, so i should be ok. i'll bet they are done up tight too. :( still, tight is right, i guess. is it worth changing the rod ends while i'm in there?

    stealers man!!

when the cable is about to snap it feels like crap then the new cable is smooooooth
  17. i am no stranger to tight spaces when it comes to rod action  thanks for the tippage. i will change them there arms then.
  18. if wobblage is a word then it applies to the tie rods on my steering rack. the steering has been vague for a while now, there is play. you can wobble the steering wheel and feel it, quite a lot. now initially i think ball joints and / or track rod ends. But when we had the car up on a lift the play is actually in the individual arms, that disappear into the rack. can the rack be tightened? the car has done 151k (vr6)
  19. the first one. with the golf zooming in its a good pic
  20. i was quoted 650 quid for a full system for my vr6 from ATS in the end i went to Midland VW and got a Jetex Stainless beauty for about 400 i think. couple of years back. a fantastic exhaust. sounds like standard
  21. call me picky but i likes me power lower down. the grunt of the vr6 has spoiled me in that way. lol at sturmey archer! i race grifters and win . . .
  22. my boss has a honda crx, 1600 vtec a capable engine, but you seem to have to wring the power out of it. that s2000 no doubt goes like the clappers, but is the max power locked away up at cam-bending revs? oh btw the bikes i beat in my corrado, have 3 speeds and a step-thru design ;)
