First i WASHED the car with XVZ and QWV25 and FRP6000. The wheels have been treated using top secret, long lasting, specialist bonding, super expensive chemicals. YOUR CAR WILL NEVER GET DIRTY AGAIN (providing you dont drive it)

STICKTASTIC! Maybe have sub categories e.g brakes, steering wheels, trim, seats of all the various mods parts that people have managed to fit etc? I know im trying to find the alpha romeo stud pattern at the moment to see if i can fit them to my VR.
-
Something quicker than yours  - lifes too short not to. Thinking of dark red or custom cream/half cream leather from my trim friend Yep love this noise, but miss my G60 tbh.
-
AHH very important question mate - http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/MERC-SLR-COPY-7X1 ... dZViewItem These wouldnt fit, I think the guy with the RH's currently for sale has sold. I'll keep my other two choices a secret for now- gona be something tasty and semi-bling.

Thats its 3rd interior, i brought it with depressing grey leather which i swapped for the cloth (some people may recall not believing i wanted to swap for free a couple of months back). late94.

As ive been away for a while after selling my G60, heres a few pics of my new 60k Corrado. Fitted so far: Weitec 40mm, de-cat pipe, BMC air filter, Ally VR6 gearknob. 16" Compomotive MO -Brembos and 312's will look snug behind those.
-
Looks great, very tidy. I'll clean it properly for you when i next come down mate LOL.
-
This is a genius idea - why hasnt it been thought of before??? Got my vote. Would also stop alot of repeated questions, repeated questions on the forum. Possible STIIICKY! then? Like i know that WEITEC 40mm drop suspension wont fit the late 1994 > VR6 topmounts, so you have to buy the early style front topmounts in addition to the kit.
-
After nearly 6weeks away (what feels like years) im finally back on line. My new VR is now lowered 40mm on weitec kit, de-cat fitted and BMC air filter. I'm very happy with it and its running well. good to be back. :D Pics up this week. 8)

Has any one seen these before because i hadnt! Any one used them? What do you all think in general? http://www.passionmotorsport.co.uk/solestrutmenu-vw.htm

Cheers everyone :D To make it much less gen-ewe-wine  Got my Weitecs already. Hopefully its worth a little more than £2000 WALESY lol.
-
Well i decided to go with what i know, brought Weitecs from G-Werks - i'm also sick of every suspension brand claiming to the best in the world ever. Cheers for the opinions. SUPERCHARGED - so my M reg car wont be sitting AS low with a 40mm drop as my J-reg did?????????? OH NO - ive already ordered them!!!!
-
Noseeee  - obviously more than if i'd attempted the job myself but was still only around £1000.00 mark.
-
How are you finding the quality of this rad now you have it in the flesh? I saw your origional post when you ordered it.
-
:D Picked up and drove my VR for the first time today after buying it 2months ago as a destroyed auto. It is now a sweet revving, running vr which will live on just a little longer LOL. I still miss my pukka G60 though!! The company which carried out the conversion did a great job with great customer service i cant recommend them enough to anyone in the Hampshire area. THE PHIRM.co.uk. 01428 608480 Also cheers to all other forum users that helped me source/sold me gearbox/flywheel/interior parts etc etc etc. I'll get pics up soon. VRRRRRRrrrrr

- Really?? hows that then? i'm going for 40mm drop next month, either Weitec or G-max as i have to consider breaks and wheels asap too.
-
Been browsing at suspensions and most places sell lowering springs or the fixed drop for 40mm, But the 60mm drop is much less common for the VR (plenty for the G60). Any reason for this d'ya think? If any VR owners are running a 60mm drop, how do you find the ride? I have read the sticky suspension thread.
-
I have been looking at PI lowering springs/struts etc. Has anyone had good or bad experiences with this brand? Are they up there with weitec and KW or a lower market option?
-
Your corrado should be washed everyday without fail LOL. so break dust quantities shouldnt matter :-).
-
Had a cracking day at thruxton, driving the RX8, Merc 55 and new Ferrari 430 (which is just like any other Ferrari imo) but the Lambo Mercielargo is outstanding in looks, sound and handling, plus it was black. My first 3 laps sucked big time LOL, but got 90% score by the end so didnt totally screw it up. Anyone else done the same or similar? How did you find it?
-
Well i'm impressed by the comments so far (even the sarcastic one  ). Its just im planning big gold callipers and nice wheels etc ....that was the main reason i was interested on how long the stay a nice black for :-).
-
I didnt mean it like that !!!..obviously that goes without saying.
-
Sounding good so far then Andi . TBH i am more concerned they stay decent looking, at the moment it seems they visually deterioate just the same as normal discs??
-
Well its good good to hear the positive feedback on the performance. So do the black discs start looking very scratched and tatty after a short period of time?
