  1. Most of what everyone else has said so far....... plus Will Smiths Porsche turbo in Bad Boys and Mad Max's black beast.
  2. YUK! So..man vs car... will that be going to the judges decision then  ?..i dont think so!.
  3. Im having a nightmare searching for wheels that will clear a set of new 4pot Brembos and 312mm discs, im now getting desperate and want some wheels quick, ive searched the net and made phone calls for 4 days. Has anyone else had similar problems? and what wheels do you have now? The space from disc face to calliper edge is 54mm!!!!!!!! Any help would be great because its looking like a process of buying wheels, and sending them back if they dont fit as hardly any manufacturer i spoke to was particularly helpful.
  4. Paint depth readings are vital!! ....they only call it the 'um' reading cos its just a guess LOL. haha
  5. I valet 10-40 cars a day - i use many different products, mostly of which are trade. I do use autoglym wax, its still one of the best products out there regardless of cost (its been maintaining my customers cars for 7 years...the same car). Flexiblades are safe, time saving to use.....if used correctly...just like anything else. Critics will always claim that anything you touch the paintwork with will damage it...those same pple shouldnt drive their cars 'stone chips, grit, heavy rain moving dirt across the paint, car parking dents, bird plop stains, tree sap damage'. Theres not alot of difference in quality between most retail products on the market- end of the day your cars always going to get dirty and its always going to need cleaning...unless your a farmer?? :-)
  6. very smart LCR mate! What offset are the wheels??? cos my seat brembos need a big wheel clearence so wondered what size the seat wheels are????
  7. , yeah too right
  8. whats that.. a list of how to wash the car? i presume you mean to chamois the car dry after washing? Yeah!? I always chamois then wash the car. hoovering the paintwork last usually works wonders too. LOL It was just a list of 'anything thing else'..like he asked, im not gona insult the guy by assuming he doesnt know how to use water or a chamois etc..
  9. OOOOOO the waterless valeters wont like you saying that  haha.
  10. chamois? lol remove tar wheels rubber dressing dress tyres! windows! clean wiper blades. wax under spoiler, inside all doorshuts and inside petrol cap!!
  11. At the place i was working today, a LHD H-reg G60 turned up from london on a transporter ready for Spain LOL, I never knew they made Auto G60's, was american spec. pretty good condition too, only had 64,000 on the clock Anyone know how many auto g60's VW made???
  12. Ah, i'll be checking this too -matrix woes-oh no! Nice one Zippy!
  13. This is a good question imo I cant find where my leaks are coming from, so i may need mine changing too.
  14. I went this route, didnt do the work myself and it still cost me less than 1300.00. Also, I phoned a few breakers from the back of PVW mag who were going to sell me all the parts needed for 700.00. I brought all i needed from the very helpful members on here!!
  15. Thanks Bigtartan- i had no idea of the tuning potential on those , i wont be passing the info on to her..shel prob end up going for more power, shes still got 4000.00 left LOL. . Weve just got back from buying at one -she paid 3200.00 for it and is really pleased- its had the cambelt done. lowered 40mm, induction kit and quickshift. got 75.000 on the clock- she picks it up friday, diablo red! saves her spending out on mods now. except wheels! Hopefully she wont be keeping up with my VR....although i'll soon be posting up next week if she does :x
  16. Thanks. I would usually advise her against a peugot, but its her choice!. it is her 2nd car too and will be the quickest thing has owned (always had a 1.0 old fiesta) so hoping she will be sensible in it -i didnt realise theyre 130bhp LOL. Iow_corrado_g60 - £1450 is a cracking price (depending on the condition of course) the ones weve looked at so far are 2700 -3400??? Silver seems to be popular too? Going to look at a red one tonight? Has your mate had to change many cambelts on them? and at roughly what mileage? Nice new Golf by the way!
  17. My female friend is looking to buy one this week, weve looked at a couple and they seem to me like fairly good, smart and sporty cars for the money. Has anyone had any expeience with these, good or bad?
  18. Looks like a real good buy mate, nice one. what rims have you got in mind then? 8)
  19. Thats more like it! 8) .well done. 17's and 40mm....well even the red storm badge suits the green!! lol. .

    Help, Brembos

LOl, a nice chap gave them to me, so its unlikely, thanks anyway. I just need to confirm what size discs i can use with those seat carriers!! :x
  25. These are great for buffing the wax off your car in these winter months, they overcome smears, condensation, dampness on the paintwork really easily.
