Put my weight behind not accepting the finish if its not 100% how you want it. £1500 is a lot of money. It will be more difficult if you pay them and then want a refund/them to do it properly. Let us know how you get on.

Hello I am changing the thermostat and I have the housing (the bit where the 3 temp senders go into) and the thermostat o-ring. Can someone tell me the part numbers for the following. The strange shaped seal the attaches the housing to the block, the lower part of the thermostat housing, the other part of the thermostat housing (if that makes sense). And lastly the water transfer pipe (with the drain pipe in). Also what are the parts numbers for new bolts as the old ones are corroded. Also any other seals apart from the 2 I have already mentioned? I am also after the part numbers for 2 new seals for the black and yellow temp senders please. I hope this makes sense. Thanks guys

Interesting, I have similar problems in mine. Its def. not normal, I suspect the locks been changed at some point. Would like to know if I can go back to being one key for everything again.

Mine is at about 137000. but it had a full engine rebuild etc at Stealth about 20k ago.

That car looks like so much fun!
-
Cool for shows but no police will let you get away with it. I wouldnt risk the fine.
-
have you checked and cleaned all the connections?
-
the original ones lasted 10 years +, better than the euro car parts one which only lasted around a year from the ones I heard. Of course it may last for ages, I would rather have that extra security of an OE part. But thats just my opinion.
-
I think they look cool, different which is a good thing. Steels give it a more used/daily driver look (cant think of the word, maybe due to the JD and coke next to me and the few I had already). Do it!!
-
Have you tried cleaning it with a good quality leather cleaner or is it past that stage already?
-
heard bad stuff about them, they are no where near as good as oe stuff. You get what you pay for. I dont intend to keep on taking out my dash so I am happy(ish) to pay the extra and get the better quality one! I have heard reports of them failing on numerous occasions. Save the hassle and go oe.

Congrats on the new car. I just got a VR6 and the quick drive I had was great fun. Unfortuntely that drive was into my garage to start work on it so I cant drive it again yet a while -
Weight is the issue on the ZW1, and probably the reason I wouldnt buy them even though they look the best. I am liking some of the compomotive or even O.Z. basic style 5-7 spoke wheels, light and OEM.
-
Ouch, I am about to buy one these. Wallet takes another hit
-
I like the RH ZW1 as well in that list
-
ok well they are all red round my way
-
Yeah what is it?? Strange how the demo cars are red in the UK and white in the us!
-
I would be interested in this as I dont think my drivers door sits properly either as I have to bang it to close it
