Hi, Ive done a search but cant really find what im after so ...............
Ive been having a good old look and clean around the engine today (1.8 16v) and have noticed three temp senders (or what look like temp senders  ) on the left hand side of the head just below the dist. Question is what are these senders for and if they are faulty what kind of problems would I see ??
Last they all look like the orig ones so could probably do with being changed so where can I get some new ones from??
Thanks J

""id pay you for your trouble""
No you wont  I wouldn’t even think about taking your money mate 8)
Ill keep my eyes and ears open this weekend for you. I know a guy in Hudds that buys a lot of C's mainly to break but ill see what he’s got :D
-
My best advice would be to take your time. You’d only regret it if you went for the first one to come along and it turned out to be **** The offers still there if you need a second pair of eyes just let me know :D

just been posted up for sale, already got lots of tasty bits on...http://the-corrado.net/.archive/forum/viewtopic.php?p=300369#300369
 I was just about to post that
Im not sure that auctions would be a good idea as ive been to quite a few round here and have never seen a C and the quality of the cars havent been to good :(
Best bet would be sales like the one above or Auto trader.

When everyone earns enough money to be able to afford it!Price of petrol right now is hideous. I paid 97.9 at Gatwick today for super, wouldn't have normally bothered - but I coasted in on fumes. Fecking unreal. I disappear for 3 weeks and petrol jumps up 10p.
Still good to know the war, terrorism and mindless killing is worth something to someone I suppose :(
 How much was the Diesel. My g/f runs a Diesel car but the price of it just doesn’t justify the MPG's anymore

Venom do the 80mm ones I think they are about £60 - £70 for a set

Hi Guys,
A question on behalf of my friend Emma as she doesn’t have access to the internet :(
She’s got a '91 1.8 valver and last week the clutch gave up on her. Must be all the Saxo whipping she does  She took it to a local garage that she’s never been to before !! and they took 3 days to change it. Saying that it was a real pain and had to lower the engine a bit and rotate the gearbox to get it off  I haven’t a clue as ive never done one
She got the car back and the clutch is perfect but she’s now noticed that the steering is very dodgy especially when turning left. I had a drive this morning and it feels really light and unresponsive. I was quite scared to drive it to be honest. It feels totally different to mine there just seems to be nothing there when you start to turn
She’s gonna take it to another garage but I thought id get some expert opinions from you guys :D so we can have a little look first and so that the new garage dont screw her
Any suggestions :D

You may want to have a look at this thread 8)

I dont want but I might have to raise mine up at bit as the roads round here are the worst you’ve ever seen. Some roads are more pothole than tarmac !!!!
They do seem to be resurfacing some of the main roads but the (could be)fun back roads are so bad that you cant get above 10 MPH sometimes :( :(

Thanks for all the replys, some very nice pics posted 8)it looks like FK Konigsport Coilovers are the way forward. How much am i looking at for a set of these?
reaper1_3 whats the difference with your FK highsport coilovers? are they just a cheaper version?
Oettinger SLC and JBOB what are you and your mates using?
cheers
danny :D
Im not sure about Hutchy but Ive got the FK Konigsport's. I got them from Richard at Venom I think they are about £500 and probably the best money ive ever spent 8)
-
JBob, is that a recent pic?? sits low!Its a pic from about 2 months ago :D Its still just as low but the car looks very different at the min as its at the bodyshop in pieces :( :(
Very cool cars chrishill/Oettinger and Bally 8) 8)

The ""In -Tank"" fuel pump @ GSF is £19.95 +VAT and the part number is 357-906-092C
I bought one back in May so found the invoice in the massive paperwork file Ive got for the car 8)
I dont think GSF do the main "Under car fuel pump" but I think they are quite expensive :(

magic.....EDIT-- i hope you made a note of that vectra!
And the two unmarked BMW's :D

I popped out to get some petrol and as I was coming back some Chav monkey boy was trying
to get me to race him, but ive just washed the car and didn’t want to get it dirty
As we came up to a very busy roundabout i went to the right hand lane and he went to the left one.
Now I could see that he still wanted to race but I just let him go and Im bloody glad I did cos
as I came round the roundabout this is what I saw
God knows how he's done it but I could have been right in the middle of this
Thought id better stop and see if he was ok or dead  and he just got out of the car and started laughing
then when bright white and said "My mums gonna kill me"
Ambulance turned up and checked him over and he’s fine 8) but the police took a statement from me
and then I think I heard them phoning his mum
I remembered I had the camera in the car when I left for home so we can all see what a plum he's been 8)
