you wont be able to use a standard cam with a big valve head. you wouldnt want to anyway as you wont gain nearly as much power as a longer duration cam

electrical connections are no problem, just making sure everything mechanical will fit. i know the vr6 selector wont fit a g60 box, but im hoping the g60 selector will fit the mk3 2l 16v box as i dont have the selector or starter motor for it!
-
will the G60 driveshafts fit the MK3 16V gearbox? will the G60 starter motor fit the 16V box? what about the G60 selector? help much appreciated party people

you will find that most of the cheap stuff is made in exactly the same place as the "better", more expensive stuff i doubt that whoever supplied lidl with their oil has their own factory to make cheap oil

i was just wondering what a mk2 G60 conversion is worth? im thinking about doing 1 to sell, but only if it will be worth while if i did it it would be big bumper mk 2 golf, possible full respray rebuilt G60 with rebuilt charger G60 brakes etc or built to someones spec just wondering if anyone would be interested in this? cheers Rob

just bolt the earth strap to the bracket which the coil is sitting in. dont bolt it to the coil, just the bracket there are various bolt holes on the front of the block, you need one which is lower than the superchargerin the middle somewhere!
-
the bottom ball joint needs to go inbetween the top and bottom part of the wishbone so its in the middle the cable with the yellow crimps goes from the throttle body to the bracket for the coil, its an earth strap the blue plug is a knock sensor which is attached to the block at the front the pipe you are holding looks like it could be a power steering pipe if it is copper, so it will go into the power steering pump next...

u wont pull the paint off by removing the rub strips. its just a bit of an arse to remove the glue sometimes. looks far better for it, and much easier to polish!!

well it leaks at the rear of the panel, so it cant collect on the main frame as there is only a headlining underneath it. think i might try waxing it so it doesn't collect water at all! what was that gearbox oil you said i should use by the way mate?
-
hello mate ive taken the internal sunroof panel out as i couldn't get mine to fit properly. is there something on the back of that then which directs the water droplets then? at the moment mine just soaks up the water, then drops it on onto the seats at the rear of the sunroof panel
-
ive recently replaced the seal around the sunroof, and have notiecd the the felt like outer edge just soaks up water and deposits it on the seats in my car. should this be happening?! is there anything i can use to treat the felt to stop it being so absorbant?
-
i done all the bottom end. wouldnt want to run a 100,000 mile bottom end on a fully worked top end
-
i do it all the time! dont want some idiot denting my car!
