Only thing i would say it that isnt a radweld an easy temp fix? personally id replace the matrix, its one of them jobs that once its done, it wont need doing again for along time. i wouldnt trust radweld.

i tried to replace it with the dash in, but then found it ALOT easier to remove the dash, it also enabled me to tidy up some of the wiring behind the dash, it was alot easier then i had thought to remove the dash and made it so much easier to replace the matrix. i got the valeo one fromm GSF and had no problems at all and its been a year since done it.

well i had the bias valve replaced as well as the bushes replaced so i had cost of parts etc on top, it took the garage longer to cut off the bias valve then replacing the bushes so i cant say how much it was as i dont know. maybe someone could tell you how long it took them in hours then just find out how much garage charge per hour.

The pixels are different meaning different quality, but as you say, only 8 quid, just wished i got yellow time one. I got it from link in the first post in the link on that other forum. * update * I have just recieved an email with a file in it that i uploaded onto my #4 camera and its made an improvement, its smoother and sharper so im happy now. Made a video, uploading it to Youtube now. Taking ages!

Yeah I got the same reply, saying it's the same camera just different software or something and he said he'll send me an update for it :? I guess I'll just wait and see! i got the update, its not an update, its a driver so u can use it as a webcam? and even that doesn't work? if u give me your email addy ill forward it to you. i sent a reply back saying its not good enough and he miss-sold me the wrong one, either way ill get the one i want.

well i got an email back about the #4 one i recieved, he said it was same but slightly different, i repllay with email saying he miss-sold the wrong one, its the one with yellow time stamp on bottom right you want, its best quality and frame rate. the orange time stamp one is crap.

I'm jealous, mine is crap quality, might sell mine and try and get the one will the yellow time stamp, not the orange i have now.

how do you guys attach the cam to the front of your corrado?

Ive just got mine and mine is in orange aswell and didnt think video quality was all that good either, might send him an email.

how would you do that?

Just collecte my new tensioner and belt, the tensioner had seven teeth so i got seven toothed belt, makes sense really. Will try and fit all tonight! Thanks for all links and help guys, been huge help! Will let you know how i get on later.

Yeah was8v i saw that but i can pick this one up today and try it tonight. Anyone know if its a seven ribbed belt i need or something different?

well i noticed smoking coming out of the bonnet so pulled over and noticed something wasnt right so called AA out straight away, so i havent driven it whilst is been broke. just rang VW, the said the pully does not come with the tensioner, it works out about £40 for pully and £50 for tensioner and then £40 for belt, think ill be going elseware as cant afford that at all. and vagcat doesnt work no more so i cant check :mad2: -update- just rang gsf, they have one in stock, £57 :) forgot belt so ringing back up now, doh lol.

Does the pully come on the whole unit from dealer or gsf? Would it be a straight swap of whole unit by undoing those three bolts?
