  1. Looks beautiful, recognise the location too, just round the corner from the cul de sac I use to entertain ladies in my car at nights.
  2. Agreed, if you're going to spend £250 on suspension, you'd be better spending a bit more to get something decent than wasting £250 on something substandard. A £70 upgrade from budget suspension to Koni is well worth it.
  3. The ultimate in chav accessories in my opinion, as is the term "lambo doors", it just rolls off the tongue in the same manner as "lexus lights" and "angel eyes". Truly grotesque.

  5. If he was off duty at the time, he should be thrown in jail, that's just as dangerous, if not more dangerous, than drink driving.
  6. I had to go to Canterbury to get mine and there was only just over a quarter of a tank when I left, so filled up at the first service station, that got me as far as Birmingham as I was stuck i ntraffic for the Dartford Tunnel for ages, that got me as far as Carlisle, then I filled it up at Dundee, so worked out at just over 3 tanks over 10 and a half hours which was not bad going. I only get about 200 miles out of a full tank :(
  7. Aye, I seen it going about too, looks like a right twát who bought it.....
  8. 3 hot girlies wearing nearly nothing in the back of a Corrado with no back seats, that takes some doing.
  9. Which Corrado's were your VTR quicker than exactly? I had an E-reg early 1.8 16v Golf and it killed every VTS I encountered, on the road and the quarter mile. Having closely examined a friend's VTS, I'm astounded how it can actually be described as a car such is the poor design, engineering and workmanship. The crowning glory is drilling a hole in the rear spoiler so the roof mounted rear washer jets still work, and you just know that Johnny Citroen was scratching his head for days wondering why he had dirty windows and a wet spoiler.
  10. I've got a 160 Deg one on my VR6 and haven't noticed any adverse side effects in the 6 months I've had it fitted. I've never seen my oil temperature go above 92 either, and it only goes above 90 if I'm really going for it.
  11. I'm surprised dubster82 hasn't replied to this telling about the night we had an encounter in his Rad with 3 lovely young ladies, unless he's scared his other half reads it......
  12. I've got one too, comes with the leather gaiter as well, and (presuming you've just bought a VR6 Highline), you can sell the wooden knob and gaiter on eBay and possibly make a profit. It looks great imo.
  13. Because they're utterly shít cars that people with no clue about cars buy without thinking?
  14. Get set of normal plates, and put window tinting film from Halfords over them, that way if the police pull you, you can just peel the film off and say you forgot to take the protective film off your new plates, and you should have enough film left to do the plates again a few times.
  15. Wow, looks good, looks like you've done a hell of a lot of work to it.
  16. The alarm problem sounds very Clifford-esque. I had the same problem, in the end, I got someone to rip the whole thing out for £25.
  17. Look good to me, although the local police won't agree, it took 4 coppers in a riot van to tell me my German plates were illegal.
  18. If you're spending all that money, I'd invest £20 or so in a set of new, more modern looking, number plates.
  19. The other car was a red standard 1.6 VTi wasn't it? Unless Mr Eden was driving someone elses car.....
  20. The modern equivalent of the 2.0 8v engine. Utterly pointless.
  21. There's always some confusion about it, but I'm pretty sure the Highline engines are the same as the normal VR6 engines of the same period (OBD2).
  22. Csme on 2 exclusive colours, black pearl and Mulberry. Came with BBS Solitudes. Had colour coded heated leather seats and air con as standard. Wooden gearknob. Black interior pillar trims. Highline only VR6 badge on the front and rear. Courtesy lights on the front door cards. Plastic sill trims with "VR6" scribed on them. One insurance group higher than normal VR6. Raised centre console. Passenger airbag. They also came with bigger brakes (288mm), OBD2 engine management, no wheel arches, fully colour coded front and rear bumpers and thinner door bump strips, but non-Highline 95> VR6's also came with those too. No doubt there's some other stuff I've fogotten about too.
  23. Bunch of bellends. I'm going to wheelspin from every junction, hit the limiter in every gear and cut up every Rover I see on my way home from work, that'll teach them. They should be trying to get Ant & Dec off the air instead, their programmes promote wanting to shoot pint sized Geordies in the face.
