Can i just butt in here! Can anyone confirm that the H&R springs for the VR are green in colour? I read it on this forum somewhere! Just need to make sure i get the right ones before i order them!

Dont forget u talking 16' by 7.5 not 17' by 8 as far as clearance issues are concerned :wink: U might like to re-think your ET if going for the larger rim!

Few more spokes than the RC's but the tidy c/cap's the same with the added bonus of a dish in the wheel - the one aspect i do prefer to the RC!

Wouldnt' it be a safer bet for people planning to buy these wheels to go for the ET20 offsets(to avoid the brakes and the use of spacers) or the larger offset with the use of spacers?

Whereas i would like to actually see them on a C - to see what they look like! - I'll think i'll go with the majority here and play safe(prob cost me £100+ anyway!) - looks like the Inpro's then! :|

Cheers Steve, Im actually running Koni TA's with standard springs at the moment (as when i bought the car). I've already bought the cups - the early fronts and new set of rears aswell! Would i use standard bump stops with these aswell or some people have specified MK.4 front bump stops?

Got a 94 VR6 C. "M" plate - so to use H&R springs I would need the earlier type top plate mountings - correct? Is this true just for the front coz the guy from VW reckons the rear mounts were the same for all years unlike the fronts? Can anyone give me the pt numbers for both back and front for use with H&R's. Cheers!

Tried today to buy the late type centre dash panel for my VR from VW - they told me it was discontinued in 2002 (as A20 LEE said) but the bloke wasnt' very convinced when i told him there was an old type and new type panel - he told me there was only one type :nono: anyway! Has anyone got the part no. for the late type panel (or early type)? :brickwall:

Thats the impression i got Shilaka - the need for them tobe spaced out a little (esp. at back). What tyres would u fit them with ,205 or 215's?

On the verge of buying my BBS RC's for my Blackberry VR6, - would just like to know if any of u used spacers so as to fill out the arches as the wheels r only 7.5 wide(17' rims). I've seen some pics of the wheels fitted to C's and they look a little lost (too far in) under the arch. Would fitting them with 215 (instead of 205) rubber help matters without running into clearance issues? :?

No , its OK! Different geezer. As it happens the fella E-mailed me today to say hes been in hospital past few days (I do believe him!) and hes sending controls straight away :D . Leave me know (on this thread) how much u get them for mate!
