does anybody know how the clip that holds the heater bowden in place works? do i just lever it up im just sitting at work planning some real work! also why might my heater contol flaps be really hard to turn? cant seem to get at them to lube them up inside?

take off the pass lower dash and make sure the cable is moving the contol flap effectively.

yeah makes you mad when the road all of a sudden goes bad you can hear your driveshafts banging, bally moulsoe is the worst for that makes me hit my head on the roof too!

ill give this a go my clunking is getting worse and becoming noticable to passengers which worries them a bit!

anybody changed the rubber mounts? looks simple enough any hints or tips also recommendations on vag or powerflex?

anything ohlins make is amazing the user friendlyness of the set up is brilliant i use them on my bikes, but yeah for road use they arent going to be effective as you have to adjust them everytime you fill up with petrol or take a passenger have a crap etc etc!!

from german egay ill post the company name that makes them, been a bit stagnent at since ed38, but im picking the pace up again now dav (lowvento) picked up a big box of bits for polishing today, and ive chatted to darren about a fmic and rebuild. Im just basically trying to plan everything so i dont have to fit things then take them off and potentially damage bits, so im leaving the respray till after xmas now as i cant decide on a few mods! and i really dont want to get it wrong and end up selling bits 'because of a change of plans!' but i think i may add a/c to the list now!
