    he he no sweat ive just done my bike too its a shame that you cant see the braided hoses on a car as they look damn good on a bike!

    where would i go to get some made up do they make them in motor factors? or is the best bet a garage?

    just to check the threaded bit on the strut top that has a plastic cap do i cut this off when fitting a strutbrace? what is it for btw?

    a smaller size one i assume? ive tried that too the metal is too soft it just chews it up but doesnt budge. i might just grind it off then deal with the two studs left!

    how the heel do you get rounded off bolts out trying to get the damn caliper carriers off, one bolt sheared off the other will not budge now its rounded off. Got a monkey wrench but that just looses grip tried heat soaking over night, shocked the bolt, but nothing... help!!!!! god knows how im going to get the stud thats left from the sheared one got one of those stud removal kits but its so solid in there its unreal!! gotta get these buggers off so i can fit brembos!!

    i tried a little heat but didnt want to melt the plastic inside the braided lines! ive given them a good soaking and left them for tonight ill try them in the morning.

    got really angry with the brake lines and caliper carriers!!

    any one got a good tip for removing brake lines goodrige without ruining them? got one side off easy other wont budge! :mad: if i wreck the connector on the car side can i replace it without making a new solid brake line? damn carriers aree seized on too! they are going to be ground off though!! :evil:

    i might have sourced some from germany for £40 not sure yet he sent me the wrong ones but he sent genuine bbs caps so thats a start. took the rc's to pristine they wanted 120 each for the bbs power silver finish!! so i got regular bright silver for 50 quid!

    the improvement in braking is the same for bikes and cars!

    i phoned him today they arent listed on the site. another forum member pointed me to them they seem to do every thing bbs related. the rc's caps are gard to get hold of as they are 80mm instead of the usual 70mm

    yeah i am heard anything about them they are supposed to be good pricey though :( justmatz are getting some rc centre caps in next week ive set some aside £60 for four not bad?

    i might want to meet you anyway need to check the centre caps are the same on 16's they look lovely just need new caps and a bit of a refurb, im taking them in tomorrow to that place in woburn sands they say they can match the bbs colour hope so as its a lovely colour! Bill

    spent 2 hours in the stealer trying to order obsolete parts plus all the bits im getting for VR6 (mod not a new rado!) managed to get most of the old rado bits they had lying around off them! including a handbrake cover! need to track down those obsolete bits! oh and picked up my suspension from avo!

    thats the general idea you can buy polishing kits from car shows that include everything but it is damn hard work polishing isnt actually that expensive theres a guy called lowvento who will do a set of 4 wheels for £175 which is a bargain!!
