i thought i liked this forum, but now i love it lol. anyone who was/is into the bukem type intelligent stuff AND the more rock type sounds, have a look for the band i mentioned previously 'Dredg' there second album El Cielo has a truly remarkable sound, and some of the album has a definate intelligent d&b influence.Andy

damn kev your bringing back some odd memories! hehe... got a world size collection of early dreamscape and helter skelter tape packs, im gonna have to go through em now lol agree with most of those, and phantasy!! ... think he was underated tbh. 92-93, cant argue with that either, i liked alot of easygroove and seduction back then too.. i think from 91 until early 95 there was the worlds supply of excellent d.j's around, but thats when the sound started to change and get put in its catagories. e.g breakbeat becoming 4-beat happy hardcore and i think ill stop going to these parties now etc etc lol ill let you know if i find anything interesting from the packs :D

i absolutely loooooove LTJ Bukem, last time i heard him was at shepton mallet in 95... the bass was unbelievable, could feel your insides moving! truly awesome.

i dont know ive only had the car for about six months... but ive already done near 4k. would of been even more if it didnt drink so much petrol lol (have a bit of a heavy foot) :D

nice find henny! never been on dubforce before, but managed to find it alright :D problem with all that is, im completly knowledgeless (is that even a word??? lol) when it comes to this stuff so have no idea what its worth, and this chap wants offers :( . and more importantly, its come at the wrong time, as i haven't prepared my budget for it all yet. (in other words... currently im skint) and knowing my luck this kit will go for some rediculously cheap price and in a couple of months when im ready to do it all.. i wont be able to find one :cry: what you think this chaps kit is worth?, anyone clued up on these?

was passing through halfrauds a little while back and had a look at there mirror code book.. said in there that they have to be made to order! this true???

i swear that ive seen a turbo technics kit on a 16v golf using the original manifold???, it all kinda fit tightly next to the original airbox. Believe it was on here not so long ago??

well i must say im proud of you all... (well most of you lol) such great taste in music throughout the forum!... personally id have to go with Rage against the machine, Tool, Pantera, Meshuggah, sometimes a little incubus (jimmy eat world, hundred reasons, that sort of stuff). and to chill out i love kruder and dorfmeister, and of course being from bristol i cant get enough of massive attack or portishead!... but thats normally when im low on petrol or old bills behind me. :oops: :lol:

i know this has been discussed before, but i can t find it anywhere.. so ill ask it anyway, sry!. what has to be replaced/what changes have to be made to a 1.8 16v before you can supercharge/turbo it and what sort of money would it take. ive spent some time getting the car upto a good mechanical standard and would like to do something a bit more 'extreme' now. any advice appreciated, cheers. ok i decided to go with the momo's afterall, fitted them yesterday morning. and wow what a difference!! the ride is actually alot more comfy, but this is probably simply because my old tyres were of the four letter word variety, no, not aVon. anyway the look of the car i think is great now. but it seriously needs to be dropped , even 30mm would make it look alot better. but ill let you decide, going to go get hold of a digi cam and ill get the pics on soon. :D cheers all.
