Funny that, I have the impression that maintanence of the G60 would be alot more than the VR, don't ask me why, but thats why I am looking opinions from owners of both. I think I could live with the different engine sound for the car I am looking at.

Good point mate, I know a few VR owners but don't know of any G60 owners about here. I did have a drive in a G60 when i was first looking, but that was a while back, would be good to compare the 2 so i'll have to look into that. I am thinking about maintanence and running costs too though. Cheers for the help :)

Ok I know this subject has been done to death, but I thought i'd take a different approach. I have previously owned a Valver but since buying it I always felt the need to upgrade to a VR6, but the perfect G60 has become available and I can't help wondering if I buy the G60 would I regret it later and wish I had held out for a VR6. So what I am asking is, anyone who has owned or driven both the VR6 and G60, can you name just one main advantage and one main disadvantage of owning either car. For example if your for the VR6 name the main reason why it's better than the G60 and then the main reason why I might regret buying the G60? If your for the G60, do the opposite obviously :-P

Trying to get the cash together to buy G60 Dan's corrado, and if i do i will be flying into London, picking her up and driving all the way back up to Stranraer and back over to Northern Ireland, does the sea count in the milage?? And get this ... the girlfriend wants to come... even though i warned her, no shopping on the way!! -
Well generally it just keeps freezing or going slow, sometimes freezes and you can't even use the on/off switch to turn it off, you need to take the battery out. Happens alot when you come out of browsing where it holds the last screen rather than return to the main screen.

No No No not those ones as well  But i also have 5 bigger ones beneath that.... for contacts, log, profiles, gallery and image print..... Then beneathe that in smaller print is the calender entries bit....... takes up half the bleedy screen :(

So it must be possible then..... mines on vodafone??

Cheers PhatVR6, i'll take you up on that offer.... On the N70 do any of you know how to get rid of the quick link symbols that run accross the screen beneath the clock and the calendar entries bit? Other than that I agree, as a phone it's quite good but very slow and temperamental.

I would have thought this too, surely the car should be based on a standard model, although the prototype does look excellent. Looking forward to the release :D

Where did you get the release dates?? I was led to believe by the Rep that they would be available before September !

They are Diecast models, which are already built and mounted on a base and presented in a display box with clear window. Similar to this

I work in the Hobby/Model trade and recently got a catalogue through from Revell... they are a German company who make Diecast models of most cars and to my suprise, included in the latest catalogue is two 1/18th Scale Corrado models (1 Black and 1 Blue). I am sure some of you may have bought the smaller Schalbke (think thats how it's spelt) model which to me where very poor in detail. I've had a look at these models and the detailing on them looks to be excellent plus they are of larger scale (approx 20cm long) and the best bit is they are retailing for 20 of your Great British Pounds. They should be available from local model shops soon, but if there is an interest let me know and I will see what stocks i can get the hold of.

After a reverse round corner, 3 point turn and emergency stop, my instructor asked me to read a number plate from a distance, then flicked through a book containing road signs and asked me to name 3, and hey presto you've got a licence  Glad i aint doing it today!!!
