  1. Yeah want to go the debadged route, just a matter of time. Cheers for the comment.
  2. Spent today working on the C so just thought i would add some pics i took. The Interior has had a few cosmetics added such as Dub Designs Handbrake Gaitor and Justmatz Floor mats. Fairly clean up the interior :D Also have the Lupo's on and Gav's headlight wiring loom. Next weekend it'll be sound deadening and Audioscape Pods with Phoenix Gold TI 6.5 Components 8) Wheels and Suspension next

Cheer's Supercharged, , it'll be the dim dip resistor, they worked fine without unpluging it so i didnt bother.

    Battery Flat

Hope someone can help me out, every time i go out to start the car after leaving for a while (couple of hours) the Battery is dead. It seems to be happening since I installed uprated headlight looms and I am wondering did I do something wrong while installing these? Any suggestions??
  5. You may not be joking, but i am thinking not to much work goes on were you work if you greet each other like that:D
  6. I race Model Cars and broke 14 hubs in the first 4 weeks of racing. It has stuck since then, although I my driving has got better
  7. Thats exactly what i am looking for, only will it be much hassle to fit a 12" sub as i already have one? Will the encloser need to be bigger and stick out more or anything like that? I like the way it sits flush and with the quality of Audioscape it will look so neat. Any ideas on prices for box on passenger side and amp rack on drivers side?
  8. Both nearside Tyres need replacing Replace brake pipes Replace Coolant hoses Exhaust centre box removed and welded New rear shocks and Bump stops Sort out the Heater Fan P.A.S fluid change Brake fluid Change Timing Belt Once this is done, get her MOT'd and then decide if i am keeping or on the look out for a VR6 If I decide to keep the list goes on..... respray/de-rust, boot build ect ect I think the VR option is looking likely.
  9. Was over in Newmarket at the weekend and saw a Red Raddo driving down the main street about 1 o'clock in the afternoon. Nice looking car who ever it was, and thanks for the view as it made me not miss mine too much.
  10. The red circle in the pic identifies the main problem with this car.
  11. Obviously this would only be a prototype, so i see no reason for the final design not to have the tyre walls added back on to look like a real tyre again. If this was the case i think it could be a winner, just think no more punctures 8)

I'd keep thinking i was in Hospital!!! Until one of my smart ass mates decides it would be funny to get the permanent marker out. Then i would think he would be in hospital.
  13. Yeah Henny, really have to agree the look well sweet and really compliment the colour.

    Heater Matrix

Exactly what i was thinking, ask a mate to use his drive or garage for a day or 2. You know it makes sense :)
  15. Welcome to the Forumneillo_2000, good to see another member from Northern Ireland. Might be a good idea to hook up with MikeVR6 of the forum if you haven't already. He lives in Bangor and travelled across the water for his VR6. He could probably give you a few pointers. Look forward to seeing your car when you get one.

Pop down to halfords and buy one of there sets, thats what I done, although a 10mm socket a few screw drivers and a few other bits and peices are all you really need. Like i said i had never work on a car either, it's not about mechanics more remembering what you took out of where. The guide explains it so well, but if you need any help PM me and I'll give you my mobile in case you get stuck :) This is the worst part seeing your car like this  notice the nice rust colour coming out of the vent in the middle of the pic, do you really want this all over your carpet

Joe, keep the 300-400 quid in your sky rocket!!!! I think if there is a query over your matrix you'd be better off replacing it before you flood your interior and leave a nasty mess, but do the work yourself. I recently replaced mine and until having the C the most i'd worked at a car was to change a tyre or check for oil and water  I wasnt looking forward to it either but I followed this as a guide http://www.corrado-club.ca/forum/ultima ... 112#000003 and actually enjoyed doing it. If you have a chance to spend all weekend at it and want to learn a bit more about whats behind the dash then really this isn't a hard job just time consuming and well worth saving £400, also allows you to give it a good clean up while it's all out :D If you want i'll do it for £250 but you'll have to bring it to Northern Ireland
  19. A20 LEE, how come your car didn't appear in this months PVW, had a quick look through it today and there was no mention, nevermind and article about. Was looking forward to the article but doesn't even mention it for next months Issue???
  20. Chill dude, if they didnt pull you over there and then they had other matters to deal with. If they stop you in a car they need to show you the evidence there and then before they can prosecute, so really you can rest easy.
  21. didnt get a PM .... re powerflow
  22. All i do is short trips and i am reading 32mpg on the MFA. 20 quid in the past 2 weeks :D
  23. GIXXERUK, was that on your C when you bought it if not why did you go for that system ? Just trying to find the best and i have heard alot of good things about the milltex, but not much about anything else???
