  1. i think maybe they are 5x112.its not got it stamped on it anywhere.but it is written on it in marker pen on the inner rim. mine is identical to the one in your pic i dont think its ever seen a tyre. its even got the same goldy coloured lacquer on the centre like yours.
  2. ive got a mint 7x15 rs222 in the garage too.two more and we can make a set.lol
  3. sts motorsport in slough quoted me 90 plus vat.bloody nitemare trying to get the order tho.ended up buying some fk coilovers. try derek on 01753523326.they might have got there ass in gear by now
  4. front arch looks a bit iffy other than that its ok
  5. you can get a chip mapped to your exact car on a rolling road.laptop connects to the ecu to find the best parameters for your car.once they have been found.they can then be burnt onto the chip and installed in your ecu. advantage of the sns chip over the jabba one.is that the sns one reduces what they call 'digi lag'.so you have a much better throttle response.it also stops it running dangerously lean at hi revs.
  6. i think the stage 5 chip is plug in and play with a 3.5 bar fpr. makes a huge difference.i went from a jabba chip to stage 5 and fpr and it was like a different car. if you speak bilal(uk sns importer) he has some slightly tweaked maps based on the standard stage 5. for smaller pulleys and different injectors. ask about the air/fuel mixture guages too.
  7. they are getting slated pretty bad over on the cgti forum http://clubgti.com/forum/forum_posts.as ... KW=eurotek

  12. i had the height only adjustable ones on my old mk3 vr6.well pleased with them.no damping adjustment but imo it didnt need it,ride was fantastic.better than the konigsports i had on my mk1. i'll find out what colour the springs when ive contacted sts.mine are for a 16v/g60 not vr6.
  13. quoted 90 +vat for the springs only on saturday. spoke to a bloke called derek at sts motorsport in slough. tel 01753 523326 if he comes back to me with a decent price on the cup kit i'll have that instead :)
  14. i got quoted 90 plus vat for the springs.just waiting for a price on the full cup kit.if they cant get the full kit i will be picking up the springs on tuesday.
  15. looks a lot better than when it was in lax pooer. paint looks much nicer and i hope theyve done away with that crappy install/interior it had
  16. aaaaaaahhhh  having a crisis now.having been reading thru this forum and from what i can gather h and r springs seem to be the best. i can get the springs for 90 +vat, bumps stops etc for 50 +vat.now i dont know what shocks to get  i really should make my friggin mind up  i'm so confused :?: bloody tinterweb
  17. yalan....thanks for that.i've been looking at the c&r website and they only seem to list one kit for all corrados(-40mm).perhaps i should get on the blower to them tomorrow. was yours the gt kit?how does the ride quality compare to standard? mike edwards.....valid point but i really want to get it a wee bit lower.ive experimented with lowering springs/standard shocks in the past and never been too happy with the ride. the last couple of times ive bought coilies so i can get a set up i like.i cant justify the cost on a car i rarely use/didnt cost alot.
  18. was that the gt kit or coilovers?have you got any pics so i can check the ride height out? a mate has the gt kit on a mk3gti and hes quite pleased with it but it hardly looked lowered and was supposed to be -40mm
  19. i've budgeted for 300 quid to spend on my valver to sort the suspension. i'm not expecting champagne suspension for lemonade money but can anyone reccommend a half decent set up for around 300 quid. coilovers are out of the question cos i dont want to spend more than half what the cars worth. i rarely use the car anyway, just looking for a 40mm ish drop and still retain a civilised ride(i value my spine) there are so many kits available but the wietec ultra gt kits and the vipertech kits from venom sound reasonable. does anyone have any experience of these kits or can offer an alternative? cheers :D

    headlight loom

so is it one relay for main beam and one relay for dipped beam? or is it one relay for left and one for right dipped beam only?

    my white one

in a complete turn around i took some polished bbs g60 wheels in p/x for the design 90's.so that was very short lived.i didnt think they suited the car like they did on my old golf. lowering is a must.i'm still undecided whether to go for a fixed height kit or coilies.need to do some research on the kits available and what the ride height/quality is like something has to be done with the rear lights.i tried half smoking a spare set we had from the last rado but they came out really crap.looks like its going to have to be the fk smoked jobs. its got a couple of bubbles of rust under the paint on the front arches that need sorting and i might get the rear end smoothed at thew same time.probably wont be until the summer tho. its also got a scorpion dtm system on it but i want to change the back box cos it looks crap. i'm gonna leave the engine alone for now.i rarely use the car and its been a couple of years since i had a pretty quick car so i dont really notice the performance loss against my old vr atm.no doubt that will change when i meet one on the road.lol
