  1. ooh, sounds cool! Just needs to change the shell for a C!
  2. steve_16v, getting warm
  3. It only clicked to me today that my dad's a bloody 4x4 driver! He came and picked up a sofa for me that wouldnt fit in the back of the C no matter what i tried! His reasons are medical though, dodgy knee means driving at a more 'straight legged' angle is uncomfortable. Gone are his plans of a corvette stingray
  4. eww, not nice bud. my mate works in a garage and the spanner monkey [note the word spanner] had just done a brake pad change before my mate took it round the block. Wheel fell off as he drove up the road. The guys sacked now! [the week before he'd put a head gasket on back to front!]
  5. thread revival!! Try and guess where i'm from!?
  6. PeteL, good to see you're still about! I saw today a RADO ON A BRIDGE!!! ... well i was excited. A bridge, with a Rado on it!! Oh, location.. Keynsham bypass, I was going from Bath to Bristol. It was Blue, and could well have been Butterfly's storm?
  7. word on the street is its worth getting it sent up north to MJ interiors. http://www.mjinteriors.co.uk/ Down south Jamie at Carisma: 01206 564455 [of pimp my ride uk fame] will do an equally high quality job. HTH Baz.
  8. looks good, lovely colour. Another vote for dont like the grill, but i have M3 style rear lights, and enough people dont like them!

  10. saw a few yesterday in bristol.. Ashley down road, green VR? flashed and waved. Blue VR in st george parked up. Blue G60? Modded, with dodgy petrol cap! Also regularly see a storm parked up on ashley down road, anyone here?
  11. Welcome! Again, i cant say which to go for between 1.8 & 2.0, as i've only owned a 1.8. However, i can say both are good choices! Comparably the 1.8 is slower than the golf equivilent due to the extra weight, but insurance is cheaper! I'm sure your sons gonna be very happy with either!
  12. I've bought 2nd hand H&R coilies for mine, but they're still being refurbed. Will post up here when they're on. From general experience though i've heard Konis/H&R's is a good combo or with coilovers buy FK Konigsports on a budget, and KW's or H&R's if you can! Anything less than Konigs will feel terrible.
  13. i cant teach ya to spray a wall if that helps mate!?
  14. sounds like a beast mate, good luck with it all!
  15. try http://www.clubpolo.co.uk/forum for a better answer, could be anything up to £1000? I'd love to see pics though!
