    yup, if you wanna do a bit of work, 1.8 with 2.0 bottom end would be a decent option, but tbh, id go for a standard 2.0 and spend the money on your project car!

    surprisingly, nothing really about mercs! He was happy with my background, and only asked the basics of what i know about the company. the only thing i really stumbled on was he asked me "to think of a time when i bought something that made me angry"... in hindsight i'd have said 'tequilla' :lol:

    iow_corrado_g60, :lol: went okay thanks ZippyVR6, i was told at the start there would be 2 interveiws and i'd get a call back in about a week for the 2nd interveiw, if i was to get one. Really dont know what im expecting from it though, dont wanna get hopes up, and still looking at other things. Will keep you posted! you going to NR next wednesday?

    cant say i'm a fan. I've been applying for jobs at car dealerships recently and everyone says why not go to VW? ... and its for reasons like this that i dont!

    Yes you are right. the are Kumho Supra 205/50 ZR 16. My next plan to change it 215/35 R 17 or R18. Anyway... More pictures will be follow next month. Koray Ustuner also, most people go for 205/40/17. less risk of scrubbing, only worth going 215 if you've got a very wide wheel!

    i gotta say, they're does seem to be a bit of borbet hating going on at the moment, although i really dont think theres that many people with them.. and certainly not in a 17"!! :twisted:
