  2. the moral of the story is go to the pub.
  3. if this is something you are interested in going into, you will not fail to find another job in a year. theres so many banks/BS's you could go for you wont be stuck further down the line. Also, much better prospects of progression. I considered going into business banking at one point, but was too far down the line with my job to take a step back. if you're in a position to get in there now and get into mortgages etc when the market picks up you'll be laughing.
  4. It depends what you think you'll feel about the new opportunity.. if its something youd rather do then go for it. Ive not really known anyone do maternity cover and not have a job at the end of it. Normally someone expecting to come back will only end up wanting to do so part time or not at all so you get to keep the job, or after a year the company will want to keep you if you're good. If it all goes terribly, you have good experience in what you do and a year in something else, so you'd be a good prospect to another new company further down the line. Worst case scenario you go back to the place you work grovelling and get one of the higher paid jobs with worse hours!
  5. I live exactly between the two! I don't know anything about them, but more than happy to pop down for a look.

  8. hi im after a beige sunroof switch from a car with cream leather. in need of the switch only, i have a surround. if you have one please let me know! cheers Baz
  9. I bought a job lot of 100ml atomiser bottles and microfibres, for taking smaller amounts of cleaning products to shows to save boot space. I have far more than I can use on my own and the Mrs is going mad about taking up space, so I thought I'd offer some up for sale. These would also be suitable for aeroplane hand-luggage as they meet the maximum size requirement for liquids. The basic prices are: £2 per bottle - 100ml with atomiser cap and lid. £1 per microfibre - 380mm x 380mm, washable up to 400 times. Plus: £2.50 p&p nationally for any quantity of either However, I will also offer the following: 8 Bottles & 1 Microfibre - £15 posted. 12 Bottles & 2 Microfibres - £20 posted. Collection from Bristol would also be possible. Many thanks, Baz - zero seven 879 six four 25 six four
  10. indeed.. you're asking the shocks to do more work and then loading it too.. either just that the shocks can't cope or may be knackered. Either way, uprating them would be a good idea.
  11. Indeed.. I was considering it for a short time as I want to get my car to a few shows now its ready, however quickly decided against it. I'm torn for next weekend too, Stanford with no show and shine [or much love] for modified cars or Retro Show at Santa Pod which caters for cars up to 1989  I think I may just hold out till Castle Combe now.
