  1. Cheers guys, added to the list! I'm not looking at making money doing this, but if there's any spare for a forum donation at the end I'm sure Andi will appreciate it! Understand completely bud, I had been slack in chasing up my contact in Indonesia after sending the sample to him.. He's helping out as a favour so I'm not really in a position to push him! I've spoken with a couple of people locally who sound promising so I could've looked at that closer at the start. Perhaps I should be happy this has given me the kick up the ass to get moving again! Cheers, Baz
  2. Great stuff, cheers guys. I've been on the phone today to a couple of potential suppliers locally, as well as chasing the model in Indonesia. Depending on the Bristol price, it could be worth staying local as it's easier to change/adapt etc rather than waiting for samples back and forth. Also, the potential sting from customs could outway the savings! I will update again tomorrow when I have more news. Cheers, Baz
  3. Looking good bud! How annoying has this on and off rain been?! I've masked up for polishing 3 times this afternoon and everytime it chucks down! Gah.
  4. I have now, as suggested, put up a feeler thread for anyone interested in these. I have samples ready to ship to Asia and will expect info back within a couple of weeks. Sadly, I have had to do this because of trodden toes, but I hope anyone who's followed this thread will stick with the original and best! The-Original-Rear-Cup-Holder-group-buy-feeler
  5. Following on from my "Hate the lack of cupholder thread.." A few people suggested i look into getting these made up. Current update: I have had a sample made and it's pretty good but not perfect, please see later in the thread for full details. Here's a pic if you can't be bother to check through! I am aware that another seller has copied the idea and is making home made versions for £10 + P&P, if you are looking for a grey or beige finish I am unable to produce that so that could be an option.. however if you want black, mine will be factory produed, with stepped sides to fit McDonalds cup/Coke can/Red bull cans perfectly. Please have a read through the original thread above and if you are interested please add your name to this thread. I am expecting exact costings within the next couple of weeks and production within 4-8 weeks. Again, I am aware there is now a cheaper alternative, but you can't hurry perfection! 1 bristolbaron 2 Marshall936 3 Critical_Mass 4 Johnny H 5 dannyboy 6 Krishen 7 _Meth 8 BILLCOR 9 redborbet 10 derbik 11 V33DUB 12 Dude VR6 13 G60 CS 14 Jim 15 EnthusiastOwned 16 Stiezo
  6. If thats a problem, i dont know what's going on in my shed!! I've got the same plan for this week, 2 day detail.. may turn into more as i've got to clean all the leather. Will compare results at Bristol Volksfest!
  7. Hello and welcome! First thing to look at is the buying guide on here - print it off and take it with you when you look at a car. http://wiki.the-corrado.net/the_corrado_buying_guide_checklist.html With the G60, it's not surprising for any 20 year old car to have some secrets, at least you've found this one early. Personally, I would say stolen/recovered 20 years ago is the very best was for a car to be Cat C/D - does the V5 show whether it's listed as either? Cat C/D cars generally sell for 30-50% less than a 'normal' car, so as the seller didn't know this it's a great bargaining tool. I wouldn't be put off the car at all if everything else seems right, bodywork, engine etc. Just make sure you buy it at the right price!

  10. how annoying! I changed from standard hoses to silicone a couple of years ago and could've sworn i kept the old ones. i've found the top hose but none of the others! There's a very slim change that it's in the garage i rent, i'll check tomorrow as i'm going up anyway. if its not there its gone :(
  11. Oh nice. I'll not bother carrying on with the research of getting these made up then? Just pinch the idea and sell your own. Would have been nice for you to get in touch first.
  12. I'd get them to double check - 5x110 is very unusual, I think they've made a mistake.
