30mm will be fine. why does it seem weird? you're changing for wheels 38mm wider, the width has to go somewhere! Tyre wise 205/40s & 215/40s will be fine for what you're after.. post pics once you're done!

all depends how you want it to look bud but 30mm all round would be best for most people.. I wouldnt consider anything lower.. i'd buy standard H&R adaptors.. contact http://www.g-werks.com/Contact/1/Default.aspx for a price.

it depends how you want the tyres to look and how you want the wheels sat in the arches.. you could use: 185/35 on the front and 195/40 on the rear [big stretch] 195/40 on the front and 205/40 on the rear [mid stretch] 205/40 on the front and 215/40 on the rear [small stretch] Fitment issues will alll depend on where they're sat in the arches, what profile tyres you go for and how low the car is..

The main issues with the Lenzos is they are a fake wheel, they are heavier, built of a worse quality alloy, are unrepairable, unrefurbishable & have a much lower % resell value.. You could spend £1000+ on a set of RS's but still ask the same price for them when you come to sell - perhaps higher! This will not be the case with a used set of curbed & laquer peeling Lenzos.. Have you got a link to the Rotas? 10mm hubcentric spacer would do you fine.. Also got any pics of the Image wheels?

Ive ordered me some bilstiens B4's (till i can afford the b12 kit) and a new bosch battery. its going to be close for sunday the car has been in the garage since dec without a cover on and covered thick in dust, ive still got lots to do, i would just like to be there as there is 9 pegs in the coupe class this year if everyone turns up. I worked in car sales for a few years and find none of the above surprising, I used to pick up plenty of deals from customers that had been ignored by other dealers. However on the flip side, I can also appreciate the choice of the saleman that was 'too busy' Saturday is the biggest day sales wise, where you can have some very easy deals walk through the door. As soon as company car schemes/opting out etc get mentioned the deal gets complicated and the buyer is very very unlikely to pull out a deposit. I'd have taken details, put you in with the business manager to discuss figures and arranged a test drive during the week..
