    do a search for 5x100 conversion, is fairly simple to do, you'll still need adaptors to go to 5x120 though..

    many years ago, maybe in 1999-2000 there was a shortened and roof chopped mk2 golf in the uk. it was originally a 3 door, but was shortened to fit 5 door front doors. the roof was also chopped and lowered. I seem to remember it having a pretty hidious paint job, but could have looked brilliant. There must be pics still floating around somewhere.. Im sure a thread on E38 would come up with something..

    im going through a faze of recording films on my virgin box and watching them before work! i watched transporter 2 this morning.. was very average, but some cool car bits so 6.5/10

    totally missed the pre collection pics.. saw the car up for sale, looks pretty tidy. wheels/stance should really set it off, smoked side repeaters would make a massive difference too.. look forward to seeing the progression.

    personal opinion, i would say 100% find a garage. it should only cost you £40 per month or so to get the car inside for that timescale and i'm sure you'll be seeing a decent wedge if you're being sent away.. Once in the garage empty tank and axle stands would be best, or old wheels/tyres if ness. there is no way an outdoor car cover is going to do you any favours over 6 months.. just as bad as leaving it exposed to the elements IMO..

    they'll be fine.. wont cause you any issues with scrubbing if you go for a 205/40 and the brakes wont cause a problem unless the faces curve in dramaticaly..

    I have a trade policy so different to the others, but for a year on year price comparison its fairly interesting.. Last year i paid £425 for third party only, no fire or theft. thats covering any car i drive for business use and up to 5 cars for personal use. I am covered for bikes and high performance too. this year i was expecting a rise to around £500-£550 due to everyones prices rising, however my renewal has just come back at £403!

    That diagram makes it seem really complicated.. You don't need a mini k&n at all but can't think where that line goes without looking at the bay, may be the breath which can be fed into the top of the airbox.. Whole job about 15 mins, longest bit is drilling 10mm hole in the box.

    i went from a 16v to a g60 as a daily and didnt regret it at all..

    mine failed this year for the first time since ownership.. rear brakes and handbrake cable.. all things i was expecting to do anyway so no surprises. :clap:

    i cut the standard tweeter housings to fit these, with the speakers fitting in the factory location.. about as perfect as you could get for a budget plug and play..     replied once but its disappeared! as above i would def retax it. is it possible for you to keep the rado running and garage the new car? otherwise its worth checking with your insurers if they would run both cars for a set period of time. with regard to the doorcards, i have a set of late grey leather cards for sale for £150.. could be worth letting a prospective buyer know there are some available if needed. good luck, sometimes these things just take longer than we hope!

    changed the ignition switch - piece of p!ss to do.. changed the thermostat due to overheating, but now the fans not coming on. swore at it and closed the garage.

    jeeze.. thats gotta be the laziest respray ever!! front indicators, numberplate & rear lights come off so easily! Fair play though, the end result looks alright from the pics.. personally i think its so close to being murdered i'd stick with the theme..

    I'm a fan of leonardo, 'basketball diaries' and 'catch me if you can' are among my favorite films. Recently watched 'seven pounds' and think Will Smith is getting much better as an actor, choosing some great roles. i'd give it an 8/10..
