  1. That's about £8 cheaper than the ICT ebay store then :norty: Edit - just realised 69.90Euro is what the catalogue states - did she offer any discount on a group buy
  2. Mine was always going to stay in the old car as it was a 5-speed - now I need a 6-speed
  3. They look identical to the one I bought - you have PM
  4. Bump to whore the Group Buy
  5. Got this through today... "Hello, we can make a special price for EUR 59.90 for one gearknob incl. leather gaiter / boot, but the minimum quantity is 10 pieces . (Golf 4 with chrome frame is 69.90 and the T4 Bus is 75,00). We can send the complete order to one address and the shipping cost is then EUR 17.00. best regards ICT-Team" So we're looking at 60.60 Euros each if there is ten takers...then it's a case of getting them posted out once over here (or arranging pony express/pick up at meets/shows etc If you want one please put your name down in the new thread viewtopic.php?f=25&t=82529
  6. Cool - still not heard - I'll send a reminder
  7. Why's that - are they as low as 'rado recaros??
  8. There's a guy on German ebay who can supply them (still not clear whether they are the reiger ones - but they look pretty good). I'm gonna ask him whether he'd do a discount for larger orders... see here... http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... 3D1&_rdc=1
  9. We are waiting for a leader of men to set the GB up ! someone with the initials of RS maybe ? :D[/quote:15uih0m0] I don't think they do one with the correct shift pattern for a B5 passat... Unless the Beetle one is the same - but I can't see a pic of it...
  10. I'm after one of these for the passat - did a group buy happen?
  11. Cheers, that's what I thought. I did see the other auction too
  12. :? D'you mean these? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... :IT&ih=004
  13. Cheers for that. So despite the seller on egay saying that they will fit the C, and are height adjustable - they're not actually the real deal!
  14. Ah, but I thought golf and corrado ones were different... And where is the height adjust on 'em? :?
  15. Hello, Been a while since I was on the forum having sold the C earlier this year. I
  16. Another reason for selling mine was it was a daily driver - and I kept wanted to spend money on it (damn this infernal modding bug!). So I'm hoping to get a cheap passat and spend my money on the rocco (and possibly the bora). So if you own it as a car to get from a to b perhaps you should rethink it - however, if you think of it as more than just a cool looking (and sounding) car then bite the bullet and keep it...
  17. My g/f didn't like driving the rado as she found it an effort to drive (compared to her previous Corsa and our Bora). She said it was too difficult to change gear (usually when cold) between 1st and 2nd.
  18. Sell, sell, sell  If you are struggling to run it - get shot of it now
  19. seconded - it's called Flat out flat broke. Think he'd had enough of it from what I've heard.
  20. Paul PM me before you put them up for sale - I have a mate who's after a set (4 or 5)
  21. Fairly spot on Jim. I use the VR everyday to commute - sometimes I take the Bora (150 TDI) if I'm travelling a long distance for work (= more ££ for me!). To be honest I often get frustrated driving the VR on the daily grind. I just pootle along in a line of cars doing 55-60 if I'm lucky all the way up a dual carraigeway. There's too much traffic on the road to use it properly - it's been good these last few mornings though as lots of people are still on holdiay! I find the TDI engine great, like Jim says the power is always there (in fact with the 150 it's a rush through the gears if you're really on it) - with the VR there is no doubt it's fast - but I usually have to drop a gear or wait for the thing to build the revs (I must be getting old!). I'm keen to get another TDI when the VR gets sold - I will miss the sound - but 55 mpg to Devon and back at a steady 8o can't be sniffed at! As for the handling it is barge-like. Our Bora, although a sport, has the standard suspension, and it isn't fun around corners (great for comfort though) but very wallowy - I recommend that you take some advice from the http://uk-mkivs.net/forums/default.aspx
  22. Looking nice Rob. Thought about coding the grill now?
