Cheers Rodders, I quite like the look of a bit of dish on the rear - especially if it's on an 8j...

Awesome looking car mate! PM on it's way (Doh! sorry for x3 PM's)
-
Yes, I just noticed they were called silver roses. (V.nice G60_Stoney) It's just that the rears have a different profile to the fronts - whereas the D90's are the same?
-
Cheers VR6 Storm. Are the wide rears slightly different to the fronts then? I've seen some which look like they dish outwards at the edge of the rim... http://www.the-corrado.net/.archive/forum/album_ ... ic_id=1567 http://the-corrado.net/.archive/forum/album_pic.php?pic_id=1564 Whereas these just have a larger lip??? With an offset of 52 – what sort of width adapters would fill the arches nicely – whilst avoiding rubbage?

Hi guys, I’m tempted to acquire a set of D90’s for my VR. I’ve had a trawl through ebay – and ebay.de and have come to the conclusion that D90’s are all 16” with a stud pattern of 5x130. This is good news as I think 16” would be perfect, but I’m just wondering about the width and offset/adapter combination. The widths I’ve found are 6, 7, 7.5, 8 & 9. I was thinking that keeping the same width all round would be easier – as I could rotate the wheels tyres as required. So with that in mind any set between 7-8 wide all round would do me. The offsets listed seem to vary for each width – 7j – ET 55 7.5j – ET 65 8j – ET 52 Is this correct?

Pointless - as mentioned above - people fail to use lanes 1 & 2 if there are 4 or 5 lanes available. Motorway skills should be taught as part of a M-way test - before you can use 'em.

Ha - I've recently bought my first Rado - and my son's only 4 months old!!
-
Sure - I was thinking standard factory trim.
-
Quickie – was there just one colour of beige leather for Raddos made – ie for all markets? Would an interior from U.S. or Germany match the UK leather? Cheers, Ryan.

Put the colour coded grill on today (thanks again to Stan 24v) - no chance of photo's due to the weather. Now on the lookout for smoked rear lights....standard or FK.

Good stuff Foggy - I'll be interested to see the results...

I'm glad people are still looking at this... I'd be greatful if you'd post your findings once you've had a go, Cheers, Ryan

Cheers Steve, It's got Konigsport coilovers - and I think they're set fairly low...and firm. I do like the look of it - but it's not practical for my commute - there's about 10 huuuuge speed bumps through the village just before the office (they're the big square ones - not the ones that are fully across the rd), and the scrap is not nice if I have to go over them straight on. So to remedy this I'm having to wait for a gap, and go over both (through the gap between them) which is a pain in rush hr as gaps in the traffic are sometimes few and far between! So - long term it will by sitting higher (not by too much I hope) and have a slightly softer ride (I must be getting old)

Same as turning it on - push it away again

No additions (I'm trying to clean up the rocco for a meet at the weekend). But I spent a whopping 56p on a new battery for the alarm fob - much improved - but it still won't do anything like the claimed 10m range in the booklet! Also found that the spare fob doesn't work  Looking at getting a handbrake gaitor, just waiting for a sample (probably get matching gear gaitor too). Need to give the interior a bloody good clean 1st though...job for tuesday.
-
A new battery has improved things - but I'd still like a better solution than Keys, Alarm fob & immob fob!
-
Ah - but things change (bet she would have thought them a bloody good idea with 4 kids!) And now they are here - is it too much to ask not to use them if you don't have kids :x
-
Hmm that's funny - I thought the same thing (but didn't really use them unless it was quiet) until 4 months ago when my son was born. Now I realise what a great idea they are. I don't use them very often - but I know what a difference it makes when my girlfriend is battling through the crowds to get MY shoppping, having to contend with a screaming baby, a full trolley (Yes I'm FAT) and the best the weather can throw at her. Last thing you need in that situation is no room to manouvre the baby/babyseat into the car (which can be a PITA at the best of times). Just to add though - YES - I think all spaces should be this size!
-
What about Lupo? I think Adam G on No-Rice had one on his rocco. (well someone with a white rocco had one)
-
I use the spaces next to Disabled spaces in Sainsbury's - gives you more room on one side at least - failing that I park miles away from anyone else!
-
It's got RED written on most of the old MoT's!
-
Yep - I do really like it - but need to sort out a couple of things to make it a bit more Ryan friendly! Not sure where it fits in the fleet - the mk1 gets more smiles/mile for me - it's a car I've wanted to own since I was 10 or 11. The Bora is an awsome car for eating up m-way miles - nearly 60MPG to Wales at 80mph+ The MPG could be the C's downfall - but I'll reserve judgement until I've had it for the winter. I did enjoy myself today when a c*ck in a repmobile decided to drive 1m from the rear bumper in heavy traffic on the A34  ...I waited patiently for the cars ahead to move over...accelerated gently...he was still pressing - gave him a wave and off went Wedge :scatter:- he was a spec in the distance by the time I reached my junction :-P

Nice. Interior looks very tidy!

Hmm - bad light - have to wait for some sunshine and take some more. Doesn't look like Burgundy!!!

V.Nice mate. Liking the rear lights too…I’m undecided on mine – some days I really like them, some days I REALLY want (dark/smoked) crystals
