Hi mate, Could be many things as these cars are getting old now.. Start by checking the small throttle body switchs, 1 is for idle and the other is for full power enrichment, check that the idle microswitch closes with the throttle closed, you'd normally hear an audiable click. Next up, the Lambda sensor, in particuler its wiring that goes rock hard and snaps off the terminals on the plug, always worth redoing the terminals with new ones. Change the blue headed coolant sensor or temp. just swap over the two plugs, 1 black for the intrument cluster gauge whilst the other is used to send a signal to the Digifant in jection ecu. Let me know how you get on.

-
I do have both matey.. I'm a little off the beaten road though. Let me know if your interested though and i'll sort pic.s Cheers.

I have a few but...you all know where i am.. i'm surprised that fuzzer chris hasn't chimed in on this yet, the buggerz always got loads of parts.
-
If your feeling lazy and can't be bothered going through the whole procedure of pressing out bearings, not knowing if it went well, getting a garage to do it and fuk it up.. No problem Jim, just buy my two 19.000km front Vr hubs complete!!!

That both lights work is beside the point mate, regardless of glass version fitted, be it late or early the lighgt beam created will be the same. Your gonna have to locate one late series, facelift model glass and possibly also the outer plastic surround too so they are a matching, late version pair. You then remove the offending lamp glass by removing the headlamp, remove the surround and then unclip all the glass's locating grey clips, pull off the glass, swap it over, along with its matching black plastic surround and your done. Be extra carefull not to touch or even nudge at the extremly fragile headlamp plastic adjusters, they crack/crumble with absurd ease.. and can't be found new or used.

Depends if you Wanna actually start and test run the engines. The one photoed above would also be Ideal, providing you only use it For static rebuilding the Engine.

Top of the range Sealy version mate, i've run about 5 different engines on that stand, even though it's forbidden as stated in the instructions.. No problems test running fiat panda engines, my corrado turbo 16v engines, fiat tipo 1,6 engine, Vr6.. The only thing that got a bit worn was the steady pin that moves a bit within the locking hole on the engine locating plate.
-
Someone has either mixed up the plastic surrounds between early and late versions. Remove them and compare the numbers that are hidden on the top inner corners, they will probably differ. Has your car got the 3 or 5 slat grille?
-
Sharpy, Vr or g60? What engine are you wanting to blow?
-
Which means that you'll be needing lots of associated bits for the engine.. VEEDUBBED has it all mate..
-
Welcome to the forum! I've got a late grille mate. Send me your email and I'll be you a couple of photos sent. Cheers-Andrew.

Did you fit a Lower temp. Termostat and fan switch that brings the fan on sooner? Or just O/E parts? I used to use Redline coolant additive that used to help a bit, pink stuff that I can't remember the actual name of the product, other than it was by Redline.. I've often wondered if the displayed temps. Really do reflect actual values, I reckon the gauges are a wee bit out. Even when using various turboed 16v corrados over the years I never had any over heating problems, same with my g60-16v 9A engine, I also fitted oil coolers, bigger, aluminum radiators. The only real difference I saw was when I fitted the low temp. Thermostat and fan switch.

What corrado model are we dealing with mate? Vr6, G60, 16v?
-
I've got an os wing mate, no rust or dents. Only problem is that i'm a little off the beaten track..
-
Sounds right geebs, Dox is right too, i had a 2.9 ABV Vr6 'box about 10 years ago and the gear trains were virtually identical to those fitted to the 16v gearbox. The difference was all in the final drive, 1 or two teeth more afair, been a long time now.. Anyway, i have a few complete final drives if you need any and a few turbos, injectors, manifolds.....
-
Always a good idea mate, can't go wrong with Gary Peloquin's diffs.. Especially a good idea with a 16v 'box as the ratios are so short and especially when i convince you to buy all My goodies to turbo your ride.. If you need anything, give me a shout.
-
I've got an injection loom left over mate, 19.000km only.. Along with injectors, rail, inlet manifold, rubber intake boot, thermostat housing with sensors.. Let me know if you need anything.
-
I might have one, or two available. Only problem is that i don't remember How many teeth they had.. 1 had 62 on the crown wheel but I don't have the bell housing anymore.
