Congrats!
-
Nice one!
-
It's a vastly overused term IMO Mint, to me , means 'in brand new condition'
-
ravaling, Take it to RK Engineering mate, they've done countless 20VT conversions and can do pretty much anything you want. They're also Custom Code agents : Click here for details
-
I think if Tim Stiles started again then he'd have no trouble getting things going as he has a great reputation AFAIK - whereas that can't be said for the guys that ran it into the ground. Try RK Engineering in St Agnes if you're looking for a specialist in the SW matey.

Great cars, just don't pay too much for it because they really aren't worth much :(
-
I'm not sure, but out of interest, why would you want to use them if they were?
-
Plus, when the time comes that you want to sell it, it will retain far more value as a well sorted G60 or a 1.8T conversion than a G60 turned VR6 No-one wants to buy an early Vr6 conversion when you can go out and buy a factory one.

When you say vibration, is that throughout the revs? or just at a particular rev?
-
:( It's looking likely that the fuel lines need replacing then I assume?
-
I had my rear mount changed today at RKE and it took them about 15 mins.
-
Apparently they don't do anything apart from make a noise, so you're probebly better off ebaying it anyway mate :)
-
Can you feel the vibration in the cabin? on the steering wheel and through the pedals?
-
Yeah, that's exaclty why I like the driving around here , because I never look at my speedo and can keep all my attention on the roads It's a bit like in France, where they can do you for speeding on the Toll Roads if you go through them too quickly because they can time how long it's taken you to travel a certain distance
-
LOL, and 30 miles further into Cornshire from my house :D I'll be down that way tomorrow though so i'll keep an eye out ( Tim, i'm up at RKE tomorrow, if I get out of there early enough I was thinking of popping down to Salt if you're around. )
-
I wouldn't worry about it yet fella, they can take a while sometimes - it's pretty random
-
Yep, it's bound to happen! Luckily it'll only be in operation while the roadworks are on! Lets hope they don't take too long! ( Veedub - Where's 'Loggans Moor' ? )
-
I think these are 15s? The one on the right : Not that low, and not that wide, but it's all i've got

I think this thread is supposed to be answering your question matey :) http://the-corrado.net/.archive/forum/viewtopic.php?t=51816

A couple of people on here bought from him , blackcat being one of them

Yep they are, and a nice bloke too in my experience.

I bumped someones car at 3am when I was a taxi driver - I got out of the car and no-one came out of their house etc I could easily of got away with it, but because my license was important to me I went and got a piece of paper, and left a note on the guys car. I had a phonecall the next moring to say thanks very much for leaving the note and not to worry about the bump because it was only a cheap car :) Also, I'd be very suprised if he lost his license over it - but it would make him think twice about just leaving the scene again!
-
There's alot of skim reading going on in this thread

Personally, I would ring the local Hackney Carriage Office and make a complaint to them, if the car is a legal taxi they'll have the drivers details. He for-fieted the ammicable resolution when he just buggered off without leaving a note IMO , that's something that really gets on my wick.
