  1. That's an insult tbh Don't except their offer, get as many pics of the car it all it's glory with reciepts etc for the money you've spent and send them copies along with evidence of other Corrado's of the same quality for sale at prices FAR more than they have offered you.
  2. 8v's aren't toooooo bad at all. They can be picked up pretty damn cheap for what they are too. And I agree with Nick , the 8v engine is absolutely bullet proof, easy to fix, cheap for parts and great on fuel.
  3. Yeah, I taught my wife to drive in my G60 - Got her hooked on Corrados and she has been ever since :) The 200sx is another 'sports coupe' that has a silly ride height aswell IMO, the arches are mahoooosive.
  4. My mate used to have one, he spent silly money on all the 'stage 1' mods and then sold it for far less than he'd spent out ( like trigger is with his VR  ) It always felt a bit plastic, and , well...Japanese to me (cheap leather etc ), but it went like stink and made all sorts of loud noises which pleased my mate :) . For the money they're alot of fun.
  5. I think there's a big difference between selling up because you can't afford to run the car due to other more pressing commitments - and selling up because it's doing your head in at the moment. If it's a financial choice then fair enough, there are more important things in life.
  6. I've been using a 'rocco GT2 daily for months now and it was 100% reliable untill the other week, it cost me £120 to have a new head gasket and on it goes. I have to sell it because it's in really nice condition and I feel bad letting the dog jump in the back and messing it up. You're welcome to it for a few hundred quid less than what it owes me ( which isn't much  ) if you want it, it's an absolute hoot to drive. Then you won't loose much at all while you're realising that you don't actually want to sell your car :)
  7. I was going to suggest that - you had it off the road last winter so do it again....if you can afford to buy another form of transport to get you to work and back?
  8. No! , it sounds like a right bangor!
  9. lolly lol lol with another lol on top. Because a few fiddley things have gone wrong that will cost you £4.83 to fix you're going to sell up and loose the few grand that you've sunk into the car.....to then buy something new and gay to drive around for about 4-5 months (tops) before you realise that you had a very gay moment and sold a nice example of an awesome car to drive around in. I know the drive you have to do to get to work and it's one that most people would dream of! You'll regret it Trig!

  12. Only took you a year to answer!
  13. Someone had to say it I suppose  That looks like a nasty one matey, I know it's a cliche, but as long as no-one's seriously injured you can count your blessings with an accident as bad as that. Best of luck with whatever you decide to do next ( personally, i'd get the engine/running gear into another shell )
  14. Loving the caddy 8) Looking forwaed to seeing what you've done with the raddo too!
  15. Change the fan thermoswitch ( Have a search, there'll be a few threadds around about it :) )
  16. It might be worth changing the thermoswitch aswell then?
  17. That sounds familier, are you a female?
  18. Get a VAG one IMO , i've had problems with temp senders from elsewhere
  19. chazG60 has a spare charger that he's going to have rebuilt at G-werks before selling. It might be worth sending him a PM about it because he's situated in Cardiff which could save you on postage
