its turning over though..so that rules out the auto box inhibitor are you sure its turning over :?: .......going by his posts all he's saying is happening is that the fuel pump is priming :wink: ............

i assume you are starting the car with the autobox in Neutral or Park................IIRC most autoboxes have a starting inhibitior to stop them being started in gear..............othewise they would shoot forward :wink:

if it was a side road/junction then she has also to make sure it is clear to move out from as she is coming on to a main road from a secondary road.....

sorry to hear this Henny :( .....one thing after another with poor old J-DUB and you of course the main thing tho as you said is that you're still here to tell the tale with just some bent metal and a few quid out of pocket to show for it as you say it could have been a hell of a lot worse :shock:

get a second opinion as this is pretty damn dangerous :shock: :shock: :shock: :shock: :shock: ..................also perhaps it was only leaking with the engine running and your mechanic had the engine off

LOL :D ...............my missus has been on the insurance since i bought mine.........and she's driven it all of 3 times............that was in 2001 too...........anyway she thinks its too low and too fast..................god knows what she'd think if she drove it now.......all Schrick'd up and lowered :twisted: :shock: :shock: :shock:

FFS......perhaps you should stay off the wine :roll: ...............ive moved this into the engine and tuning mods section because you had it in the parts for sale section originally (with no fixed price either :roll: )........so as its turning more into a Q and A re schricks etc ive put it into here for the time being............once you get these magic prices that you the Trader sorry private individual can get it'll be moved back...............if thats ok with you of course :roll:

don't think i'd have an un-schricked VR now,especially after driving Pau1's standard VR down to Star on sunday.............ok its got the bigger rims and the lambda probe was kaput but it felt so dour to drive compared to mine................Oakley if you do go for one make sure you get it re-mapped or uni-chipped :wink:

one of them was the GolfVR6 forum's Schrick GB when 31 ppl went for Schrick manifolds.........they used Stealth Racing as the distributer and collector of payment so that it was all bona-fide as schrick do not supply quantities of the manifolds to private individuals but only to............traders :wink: ........

i think it can actually be reset without using VAG-COM......i seem to remember an issue of VW-driver showing you how to do it and IIRC its all in the driver's manual for the Lupo and Polo :wink:
