believe me they will have a big effect.............the facelifted S3 of 2001> wasn't really that much different looks-wise from the pre 2001 models so didn't really wipe shed-loads of value off them whereas the replacement new style S3 (not the current range topping 3.2 DSG one btw) will IMO cane the values of the older mk1/2 S3's

if its been well maintained prior to you owning it.........then 80k should be a biggie.........fuel filter(every 20k miles),spark plugs(also every 20k miles),coolant change (every 2-3 years) and of course air/oil filters........i would also check when the Serpentine belt was last changed as these are only checked at 60k intervals(if they are checked at all)............but don't take it for granted that whoever is quoting for the 80k service will do all or any of the above........you have to make sure they tell you what they are going to do for the price quoted.......as £180 sounds just like a $tealer oil-lube service so plugs and fuel filter won't be included let alone the serpentine belt

well maybe its just they are common as muck up here...........i see more S3's than i do Corrados.........tho most dealers/traders up here all want top dollar for them
-
please could you just update one of you're previous members gallery threads instead of starting a new one.........here are your previous ones btw http://the-corrado.net/.archive/forum/viewtopic.php?t=11663 http://the-corrado.net/.archive/forum/viewtopic.php?t=11469. you already have 2 gallery threads about the same car  btw you're C's looking nice 8)

don't want to spoil the party too much here.............but............please bear in mind there is meant to be a S3 replacement not too far away on the horizon.........more so than the current range topper........(they interest me that much i can't remember what it is)...........so they will drop like a stone in value even more when thats on the scene  ...........they are beautiful looking cars and IMO are a lot more refined and easier to hustle than the poor C VR6  but they ain't too far removed lookswise from a cooking old shape A3 and of course they are a lot more "common" than the C (all versions)........i would rather have a relatively rare C VR6 at the end of the day even if its slower and not as well equipped/refined as the S3.............just my 2 pennies spent

well that trim looks like its the trim thats available between the early cars "petrol/platinum" and the later cars "splitt/atout"................IIRC i have a 93 M/Y brochure somewhere pretty sure thats got the trim mentioned that you have in your C........once i find it i'll let you know
-
AFAIK all the cloth patterns were available across the range...........tho obviously the bulk of the fabric colours were dependant on the exterior colour picked..........you'll find for example that 99% if not all of the early tornado red examples(without the recaro option) will have whats known as the "blue/petrol" interior......which is the black with blue/green "check"......these will also all have black plastic trim too.............whereas IIRC the bulk of Grey cars(again without the recaro option) will have the "platinum" interior which is the grey cloth with lighter grey check and grey plastics............thats for early cars btw the recaro option on the early cars used a grey/red fabric there was also a harder wearing cloth available on the first VR6's and i would imagine this was also available on the 16v too...........this i've seen on v early VR6's with the early dash and also on later (upto 93/94 L-reg ones) too for the later cars(93/94L> IIRC) with the revised dashboard they changed the interior cloth's design..........the black trim was known as "Splitt" and the grey trim was known as "Atout"..........and the recaro trim was known as "Geometric"

That's codswallop mate... who told you that? NGK are probably able to supply them cheaper to the dealers than other brands! I've used Bosch plugs and not had any issues with those.... in fact they last longer than the NGKs  thats what the CCGB tech guru told me matey .....so there  :D  -
