my preference for all round affordability etc ur-quattro wise is the post 83A> digital dash versions...........20v's are just still a bit on the high side price-wise and are the more collectable whereas the 10valvers are not too un-realistically priced with 95% of the 20v's performance..............Tor-sen diff ones from 87/88 are the best of the 10v's btw make sure the front and rear bumpers are totally intact too..............spoke to an ur-quattro club rep the other day and he told me the front bumper is getting on for near £2k to replace :shock: :shock: :shock: :shock:

right you'll also need to get matching dampers as well.........just getting shorter springs is a bit of a compromise................whatever suspension kit you buy also factor in a geometry check/adjust wheel alignment cost as well as you're fitting costs etc Star-Performance charge

well tbh most $tealer parts ppl will be able to source the badge from any other VW dealership.......if its speccy cars you're getting this from then i'm 99% sure they'll be getting it from the VW parts distribution centre so in effect that should be accessible to all....you just need to go and ask you're local $tealer parts man to locate one for you....

IIRC the centre armrest was optional on ALL 2.0 16v's and 8v's but was standard fit on ALL VR6's :wink:
