  1. http://website.lineone.net/~quigger/heater.htm enjoy.................this will help you no end.................respect to the quigger :D
  2. and of course it all depends on whether your painter uses quality paint or cheap paint.........spoke to the guy who did mine today and he told me the paint cost is mental for quality metallics whereas you can get cheaper paint but the quality aint great
  3. £200 for all that :?: :?: ......thats damn cheap.....i was approx £350 for a complete front-end paint and rear panel paint from a damn good painter up this neck of the woods...........
  4. more than likely the oil cooler seals......mine went in my first couple of months of ownership and leaked pretty much the same
  5. nice Alan Partridge quote Jim    .................anyway Henny hopefully this will be the last of the teething problems
  6. its going to need some lite restoration....it is afterall 18 years old now..........but i plan on getting it up to a "classic-car" show standard........but as its not my daily driver i have plenty of time....at the moment the tax runs out in sept....so dunno if its wise SORN it while i get some things attended to or get the front wing done ASAP and run it thru winter etc or just run it and save the pennies til i can afford to get it painted
  7. just about anything from the BBS catalogue would do
  8. well we'll agree to differ on the colour..............but you're 110% right about the sound!! 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8)
  9. well after spotting one of my old motors in the local rag for not much pennies......curiosity got the better of me and i went up to view it...purely just to see how the years had treated it.........bad move!........cos i'm now onto my 2nd stint of ownership of it! :D here is it 10 years ago (just months previous to me P/ex-ing it for the original A2 GON )when it had 89k miles on it December 1994......its now on 114k miles which appear to be genuine as it was owned by the previous owner for near on 8 years and was just used as a weekend/fun car......btw its also had a plate change but all the documents show this......even has an old MOT cert from my tenure :D ........anyway it drives pretty decently and still has a nice bit of grunt to it....well it does have 160bhp afterall  anyway managed to get it on a classic car insurance policy for under £300 fully comp, its got MOT til April 2005 and the tax runs out end of sept  ........its not immaculate as such but is going to need some paint to the front especially the driver side wing's leading edge and the Tele-Dial alloys are going to need a refurb....but they still have the colour crest caps i fitted all those years ago  the interior is near enough mint barring a small bit of wear on the middle of the seat and carpets are as new and apart from a noisy fuel pump and a panicky oil pressure light(which i found out was a bad earth) i'm pretty chuffed with it....again
  10. 10 valve and probably pre-TorSen diff model........hence why the"lowish" price  pity its pearlescent white  ............has to be Tornado red or Lago Blue for me
  11. in fact here is a pic of a 8 valve exhaust.........although PhatVR6 has slotted a VR6 into it.....IIRC he's kept the 8v's original exhaust
  12. the std exhaust has a oval-ish tailpipe.......tho most of the aftermarket ones also have an oval tailpipe but bigger as for the 8valve not being too common.....this is mainly down to the fact they were only made from the 95 M/Y(08/94-07/95)
  13. is very strange how this company that specialises in Corrado's only seem to have appeared in the past year or so...........without them using the net's biggest Corrado resource  to advertise their existence either  .........also no mention of the VR6 timing chain problems in the recent used car buyer guide "expert" view from them
  14. afraid so  ..........be lost without it too  ............
