  1. Unless it's on an RS500  tbh the RS500's difference spoiler-wise was that as well as the whaletail of the std Sierra RS Cosworth it also had a small bootlid spoiler too
  2.   yip   was waiting for green-wing honest
  3. Or getting a better-spec'd one for cheaper, eh Rodders... ;) ok ok rub it in m8 :D

  6. grrrrrr   ............then again its very true for what you get....... the storm aint worth spending any more over a similar spec VR
  7. the lux was offered from the start btw........it just refered to the interior trim IIRC all the exteriors were the same bar the delete-option of the whale-tail on the later small turbo ones
  8. no taste at all .........the escort Cossie is probably one of the best cars from the 90's  .....infact its one of the few cars that would tempt me out of C-ownership
  9. and here it is with its then current owner at last years 1st Corrado-forum(Scottish-region) Rolling Road day :D
  10. IIRC jedi-knight is called Nathan but canna mind his surname
  11. guess we'll just start calling u mike(edwards) the glenn :D
  12. nope and btw the 944S2 "only" has 211bhp the 944lux has 163bhp the 944S has 190bhp then the 944S2 has 211bhp..........then the 85-88 944 turbo has 220bhp and the 944 turbo 88-92 has 250bhp
  13. 924S = 924 bodyshell with 944engine and running gear  ......so 2.5 Porsche 4cylinder 8)

  15. some new rims now................picked these up for an unbelievably decently low price from of all places my works internal message board :D and btw.......the paint on the car does'nt look as good as the pics unfortuneatly :( .....tho the design 90's are in near mint condition apart from some minor corrosion on 1 rim and some small scratches on another

    Gas mileage

well i get approx 32-33mpg on long journeys at steady speeds of 80-ish mph
  17. well my local $tealer used ESSO Ultron at over £10 per litre  when i first had mine serviced as it all depends on which oil that the $tealership buy in bulk..............however if you supply them with the oil you have a greater control on the price as you should be under £5 per litre for synta-silver
  18. lets just say that the RR in Aberdeen isn't the most accurate.............and is prone to having the figures f***ed about with to suit the operator
  19. well tbh 6+ years is pretty good going for a model range......ok it did have a couple of facelifts but these weren't exactly major..........i'm glad that the Corrado(so far) has never been replaced as it gives our motors that certain uniqueness about them
  20. Corrado service intervals are every 10k miles or 12monthly so there isn't really a 55k interval as others have also stated............if its been serviced within the last 12 months then i would just get a local garage or competant mechanic to give it an oil and filter change......then when the 10k or 12months have elapsed get it into either a VW dealer or VW specialist for an annual inspection.......if you do put it to a VW dealer......make sure you supply them the oil
  21. sorry but i prefered yer speedlines :D
  22. that'll be the one and the same that my mate has just recently sold
  23. mate has a 1993 reg VR6 thats just had the engine in and out.............since engine been put back in........his speedo isn't working no more...........any ideas whats likely to be at fault :?: AFAIK everything was replaced/put back like for like
