check your relays and fuses mate......could just be some corrosion on the contacts or loose connections :wink:

well given that we can't physically diagnose what the problem is and are just going by what you have told us......i'm afraid our ideas are the only thing to help you..........of course i'm sure you could take the car to a garage/mechanic and get them to diagnose it

ignition switch perhaps :wink: ...........pretty sure if it was a fuel pump issue this would also show whilst driving :wink:

well how about like for like........Joe M was wanting £6k for his 110K-ish Twilight violet/grey leather'd up 95M VR6 a month or two ago......ok he had a schrick and quaiffe in his but that wouldn't drastically affect the price tbh

well given that i have 3 gallery threads myself you are obviously allowed more than 1......but all 3 of my gallery threads are about different cars.....ie ........my storm,my old cars and my new "old" motah one.........whereas you seem to have a gallery thread for each different thing you do to your car...............you can edit the title of your gallery thread each time you make a change btw

how about Porsche LB7V.........which funnily enough is the colour of my new "old" motah........looks black but is in fact quite a nice grey :wink:

RESULT!!...........a mate has just bought a P-plate Golf VR this month too......he paid near £4.5k too..........although it was pretty well loaded having Climate control and leather........

AFAIK if you check it with VAG-COM and the engine is off then you will ALWAYS get G28 flashing up

if its had fully synthetic since new then you could always go for Synta Gold and go for the VW filters everytime :wink:

i used the standard NGK ones prior to getting my schrick fitted then i went to NGK iridiums............as the standard plugs are good for 20k and cost less than the platinum ones which are good for 40k

It was actually my first thought as soon as it happened. And I could swear it seemed noisier after a trip to Elgin the other week. Not too bad if it is, I phoned ECP earlier and they have 1 in stock, day off tommorow too so should hopefully be sorted pretty quick. 8) chances are its the original..............so near on 10 years/100+k miles aint bad :wink:
