bit late in the day....but my opinion is they are called Fog-lights.........so really only should be used in fog or conditions of poor visibilty like falling snow(read the highway code ppl)..........also its a fact that they are illegal to use during the day in bright sunlight too  i think the main problem too is that a lot of magazines show the foglights on when the cars are photographed to.....as it makes them look soooo cool

mine was 3 MOT's running.....tho did get a couple of advisories :?
-
brakes(discs and pads)...IMO are consumables so will need to be replaced at some point.........the Corrado VR6 IMHO has some seriously cheap good quality brakes available.........and if your thinking of coil-overs etc then tbh it don't really matter too much the state of the suspension on it at the moment......though still use it as a bargaining tool as for chipping it........ive had the AmD re-chip in mine prior to going over to the schrick VGi set up and i did notice the car pulled a lot harder to the redline

welcome to the forum :D anyway..........to answer yer questions 1)given that its a 2.9L 6cylinder engine with 190bhp standard........you should be able to get early 20's mpg round town and early 30's doing 75-85mph......IMO not bad especially when you consider the 18mpg that a XR4i/XR4x4 gives round town with a 2.8/2.9 V6 with only 150bhp 2)not really..........it alll depends on whether they get properly greased etc 3)Parts prices!!!!!!

AFAIK the vr6 fuel pump is a "combined" one as opposed to the main and lift fuel pumps on the valver...........dunno if it makes a difference re the sender tho :?
-
probably been replaced before or they didn't have a number 4 lead
-
you would have thought if they (Davia) had any ergonomic idea that they would have had the ABS light where it is normally and shifted the fog light switches to the blank next to the head light switch
-
i reckon your's are in that position cos you don't have leather.....then again i suppose it also depended on how good the fitter was about making them fit in ergonomically too
-
Davia...........and seemingly thats where most of them fitted the controls............

Corrado in Storage for a year or two?
vr6storm replied to Ice White Socks's topic in General Car Chat
well store the VR and use the valver as a daily driver  ..........which tbh..........i know which one would be the daily driver     -
AFAIK its the ECU that adjusts the fueling..............so isn't possible to tweak....other than a re-chip/re-map........not sure if it would make a difference changing the fuel regulator either :?

well tbh the parts for the brakes(4 discs and 2 sets of pads plus consumables etc) would be approx £150-ish+ and thats from euro-car-parts......which bear in mind isn't VW-parts prices but are probably the cheapest good quality/OE parts to use......so approx £85-ish for labour to fit discs and pads all round to me ain't too bad especially from a main dealer.....ok you don't have aPorsche.....but you have a car that is more than capable of matching some Porsches in the performance stakes and well the sunroof motor will have no doubt cost a fortune in the first place and bear in mind just 1 hours labour would more than likely cost £60+ dependant on location .....just my 2 pence worth
-
Star-Perfromance also do a schrick package..........something like £1350+VAT IIRC........
-
