    The plate will be off any day now and replaced with my own as soon as the log book comes back. The car is wearing the standard speedlines but I would like some RH ZW1's in the not too distant future

    I am currently sporting the biggest grin ever seen. Yes thats it folks OSV is now mine. Picked it up at 10am and been out in it till now. Id just like to thank Gareth for selling it me. He is a top guy to deal with! See you at some of the shows hopefully.

    Buy some touch up paint from Halfords or VW. Buy a really fine artists paint brush and carefully touch in the chip.

    You get what you pay for with suspension. Just changing the springs will never give a good ride. The factory springs arent designed to be compressed that much.

    Yeh its a worth a go first. If it is the lift pump its not an expensive repair.

    Its lifts fuel out of the tank. If it wears out the main fuel pump becomes noisy as it is overworked.

    Is it a 16v? Sounds like a noisy fuel pump or knackered lift pump.

    Fastest car ive been in was a 506bhp Marcos Mantis GT. Fastest car ive owned was a Revo'd 275bhp Leon Cupra R.

    Youd be surprised whats on the surface of a new car car. It could have been sat in a compound outdoors for six months. It could of been painted even further back.

    Id say I am. Ive had MK1 Golf GTI Campaign Seat Leon Cupra R MK2 Golf GTI 16v Next car will be a VR6 Corrado which ive wanted for a long time. Im prepared to wait for the right one.

    I had KW Variant 2 on my old MK2 GTI 16v and would definately recommend them. The ride quality was very good and being stainless they dont corrode like most. The Bodies are made by KW and the shocks are Koni. Ill be getting them again when i get a Corrado! What do you have on now as your car looks quite low on your sig?
