Whys the Cupra so cheap? Seems about three grand under book.

Is there a guide anywhere on how to change a VR6 radiator. Trying to decide wether to pay someone or have a go myself. Is there anything else worth changing while the cars in bits?

Iv been looking for a decent alarm fitter for a while now after the place i used to go went downhill. I got put in touch with a guy called Kevin Harding who i had heard good things about. He is based in Birmingham but is mobile and will travel. Kevin deals mainly in Toad and Clifford. Upon stripping the car he showed me what a rats nest the original system was. Wires all over the place and rougly taped up. The new system was all soldered properly and everything made look tidy to the point where it didnt even look like there was an alarm fitted. You get the billet one much cheaper by going direct to Gruvenparts. Im sure mine was in the £30 bracket.

You see so many VR6's that have either had rebuilds or new engines. Whats the usual cause of failure?

Civic Type-R's are under 200bhp I thought :? ,with bugger all torque too 197 bhp

Im sure i saw a VR6 Corrado on a dutch site with the 323mm Brembos and the car was wearing 7.5x17 BBS RX?

A lot of people have said loose the wax on step three and get something better. Personally i use Autoglym SRP then go over it with Victoria Concours wax from cleanyourcar.com.

Awesome Zak. Been waiting for these. You still cant beat the RH's on a Corrado. Still wouldnt mind a set myself.

Does anyone have any views or experiences with these? They seem very well priced for what you get.

Mine was £15 when i had my VR6 serviced at Stealth a few weeks back.

Is it necessary to buy a genuine VAG rad or will one from GSF and the like do? I spotted this on ebay Clicky Anyone have any experience of these?

I had a VT front mount fitted yesterday and was really surprised how it improves the feel through corners especially going quick around islands.
