  1. Get a banger. The Cyanide and Hapiness strips are excellent(never seen them before).I need to check out the website..
  2. Nice one,lpf33.Congrats on the Storm.
  3. Excellent job.I've never been one for this mod before, but lately, the cluster has seemed dated to me.This is easily one of the best mods I've seen.A subtle and elegant design. You b*****d.
  4. Is that the southside tango? Put the original rear lights, steering wheel, gearstick and alloys back on and everything will be cool.I wont tell anyone. It's not an M3,so no M3 lights either. Oh,and off to bed with no supper too. Seriously, think about the lights-I can't sleep otherwise.
  5. It's a bit of a long shot. This was the system that was in the car when I bought it.Does anyone have the Sony CDX-5850R in their VR6? In the manual it says that a Minidisc can be connected.Am I missing something?..because I sure as hell can't find any connections.
  6. What a transformation.I think the Corrado should have come with Borbet A's as standard(where did you get them?).I do think that it would look the absolute conkers with the original rear lights though.Sorry, but I think those style of lights make an 'old' car look even older.I think the rear cluster(is that the term?)is one of the Corrado's strongest points.I hope I haven't offended you with those comments, but I really like the comparison in colours with the lights on a blue Corrado. But then,it's not my car!
  7. Yip,that's a stunner. The two Storms on this thread are in my opinion the best on the forum.Nice and original.I initially thought against dropping my Corrado,I think it takes away from the car if it's too low.Lately it has been annoying me though,as the gap in the wheel arch seems higher everytime I look at the car. That's the way the BBS are supposed to look.I'm jealous.
  8. Hi,welcome to the forum. Those are some very nice looking wheels.Looking forward to seeing some photos of the Mustang. What's the colour of the rado?..is that Inca Blue?.
  9. There have never been many Corrados in this neck of the woods, even in the 90s.I recall seeing a few though, and thinking how different they were, even then.About 4-5 years ago,I was stuck in traffic at nightime and what should be in front but a Mystic Blue Storm. It looked amazing, really sleek and had presence. It was a long wait until I got my Corrado last year, but well worth it.I really can't see me owning any other car.
  10. Thats one filthy Corrado.Fully deserving of a mud-splattered trophy.
  11. This was a new series on Discovery about a group of british mechanics working in Spain for scotsman 'Jock',the garage owner. I really enjoyed this show(it ended on monday).Throughout the series various cars were brought in with problems ranging from oil changes(hadn't been topped up in years) to engine fires and so on.Some of the cars they serviced were amazing.Jaguar 120,Bentley GT,Golf MK1 convertible and a Camaro to name a few.The best thing for me though, was the way the program explained the different problems with computer graphics and the mechanics themselves explaining why the problems occured and how they would go about fixing them. On the last show the atmosphere in the garage was strained to say the least. The summer season was coming to an end and work was thin on the ground. The mechanics were mainly made up of BMW,VAG-trained technicians and seemed to know their onions. However,Jock saw to it that two experienced mechanics and one trainee ended the show tending their resignation, being unable to work for the t*at. I hope the program returns for a second series because it really is one of the best 'reality' shows for petrolheads along with american hotrod.
  12. Craigowl,I'm in EK.Verve in Glasgow is my local dealer. It just seems to me that I'm putting them out anytime I call, and when I go to the garage I must be invisible to them because without fail I have to accost somebody and ask if it's at all possible I'll be served that day.
  13. Thanks gaz.I feared the worst. My local VAG is staffed exclusively with idiots.
  14. Morning people,I was wondering if it is possible to get a list of Corrado parts still available from VAG.Do they do this,or do I have to ask for each part individually?(to find out). The reason I am asking is that from trawling various threads of people looking for parts, inevitably, people say that the parts are still available from VAG.Thanks.
  15. Congratulations tango. If your Storm is the one on sale in Autotrader recently, you've got a beauty.I live in East Kilbride but travel into Glasgow every day for work via Mount Florida.I think the one in MF is a Midnight blue VR(unless there's two),whoever drives it isn't on this forum I suspect,it's been 'spotted' too many times with no reply.I've had my Classic Green Storm since last July and could count the amount of Corrados(never mind Storms)I've seen on one hand.In fact, the only other Storm I've seen in the Glasgow area was another Classic Green in East Kilbride(haven't seen again).Considering the amount of members from the Glasgow area on here alone,I can't believe I haven't seen more. Incidentally,I've met two Corrado owners on my travels, both in East Kilbride. The first was an owner of a red G60 in a petrol station last year, and then a new owner of what looked like a Blackberry or Burgundy(is that right?)pearl G60 in the EK town centre car park.I spoke to both guys for a bit but can't remember if you're on the forum or not.
  16. I love the Borbet A's,9x16's too wide for my liking though, and have been trying to get them in 5-stud,7-7.5x15/16.As rare as rocking horse s**t.The search goes on..
  17. How moody is the second photo? the Corrado looks tremendous from a face on view.Very nice.
  18. Oh my god. Please don't do it.Is it Her Majesty's Grey? I'm sure I recognise the paint scheme from my weekend in the cells.
  19. I used to work in England gaz,so I was well prepared! I always wondered why it was such a problem, the guys at the local shops/pubs when I worked down there would look at the notes like they were roman currency.Anyway,as you say-back to topic.
  20. Man,it's enough to make your heart bleed. The 70's Mustang and Camaro are probably the only cars I would have over a Corrado. It would be even more of a nightmare for petrol of course, but they are,as our american friends might say, awesome.
  21. I drove from East Kilbride to Slough to view my Storm last July.I was sh*****g myself incase it was a dog.I had the missus with me,so she drove her dads' work van back(free petrol!).It was the first time that I had driven a Corrado,I can still remember the feeling. The test drive was amazing,it felt like being in a cockpit.I almost totalled the car on the way back(thank you ABS).I had worked a 12 hour shift the night before, finished work at 6 in the morning, came home had a shower, and left within half an hour.I think the journey is about 800 miles+ all in.I had to go to a bank first to get the money(don't take kindly to strangers' money in England)and I kept thinking that I would either lose the cash or get mugged. It was well worth it though,I spent the whole journey back grinning like an idiot listening to some quality tunes. What a day!
  22. If this is the car that was on autotrader you're a lucky man. You'll get 7k worth of car alright.Enjoy!
  23. The Apache;now we're talking. :salute: On a tangent,I've always fancied learning to fly a helicopter and once looked into becoming a pilot as a possible career-until I learned that it costs around 40 grand for the licence.Oh well. Cars:Alfa GTV 3.2,Jag XK8,An Aussie car (I think it was Australian,American show though)I once saw on Overhaulin',possibly called a Barracuda, muscle car.
